REFUSED TO HELP WITH EXPIRED VOUCHERS

Saved up and purchased 2 vouchers from this company for them to drive a supercar. They were both very excited for this opportunity but unfortunately due to certain family matters we couldn't use them for a while. Having now come to use them their have expired. Now this has happened to many people before and you can pay a nominal charge to get them usable again, but no this company replied with a flat 'this voucher was not validated it is now void meaning it cannot be extended, refunded or exchanged.' Bloody lovely so we now have spent our money and have disappointed children! I would advise anyone to strongly steer clear of this business in case you have any issues like we did.

My sister was given a ‘make over & photoshoot for two. When I went to reserve they no longer did this. So thought never mind I will book a pub lunch for two. After adding £36 and making the booking - they no longer use the pub I had chosen. Complete waste of time - not getting any more money out of me. See my previous reviews - first time I’ve had a bad experience.

We had some personal issues which meant we were unable to use the voucher within the original expiry date. I emailed explaining the situation and I was delighted when they extended the expiry date to enable us to use our voucher. Fast, kind and efficient service . Fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The customer service team were great they kept in touch and helped me through what was the biggest nightmare over 3 days. Finally given a number to call but again bit of a struggle and a lot of thought to work out how you finally get to talk to a human being who sorted it for me. I do wonder how many people lose out due to a nightmare system and just give up

Terrible customer and company

I originally tried to book my experience in December but I was told the experience wasn't available so they extended my voucher. I had now tried to rebook my experience and I have been waiting over two weeks for the company to book my experience and after chasing the company twice they have still not sorted the booking.

Have 3 vouchers combine value £150 Wanted to extend all 3 told it would cost £20 x 3 =£60. So value of vouchers now £90 !!!! Complained to CEO of company extended 1voucher (cost £20) 2more extended for free👍

Absolutely disgraceful company

Absolutely disgraceful company. This was purchased with money given to me by my mother after I became homeless, suffered a loss and really needed this break for me and my daughter. Every time I’d go to book it, something went wrong. By the time i had, it had expired. I contacted the store who simply told me it had expired and was now void. Id understand if it was a physical item, or the experience was no longer available but could exchange, but simply said “it states in our terms and conditions”. Bear in mind this isn’t £50, this was a lot of money to me. Please make sure you validate as soon as you receive it, and let others know if it’s a gift. They will not even consider to help you.

I was given a voucher for my birthday (which covers more than one activity). Most of the experiences are in England, rather than Scotland. I'd like to be able to do an experience on my own, rather than for two or a couple. These are very limited. Most of the experiences are aimed at couples (I am recently divorced).

Activity Superstore - Compound…

I enjoyed the experience of Compound Archery, which was brought for me. They seem to have many experiences if you need some ideas. The vouchers are really simple to use, and we have had good reception from all the places using them. I would suggest you print the vouchers to make it easier to go. I doubt I'll be using Activity Superstore again in the future.

Adrenaline fun but expensive inside

It was a fun great experience and adrenaline fuelled. The negatives of it was overpriced for the paintball shop and some of the other people there, ruined the experience.

MASSIVE CON! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Myself and my partner were gifted an Activity Superstore gift experience by my relative for Christmas 2022. At first glance, it looked great; lots of experiences advertised; 'great,' we thought. On sitting down to select our chosen gift, we found that the majority of the experiences advertised weren't available as an option and most experiences either required additional payment (for example, the purchase of photographs in order to claim the 'free' shoot) or were located on the other side of the Country. Living in Norwich, a fairly large City, we assumed that a decent amount of experiences would be available to us within our locality ... wrong! Disappointed, and with little available to us, we went away and almost forgot about our joint Christmas present. A few months ago, before the voucher expired 1st April 2024, we selected the only experience we could choose which wouldn't require further expense or lengthy travel: this being a burger meal for 2 in a local city bar. On the day we planned to use it, we noticed that it had to be 'booked' first and that we had to contact Activity Superstore (yet again) to do this, not the bar. They responded to say that booking our burger meal for 2 would take 1-2 weeks and, by this time, the experience would have expired. They advised that for a fee of £20, we could extend the expiry date. I had to point out that our burger meal was already worth far less in value than what our relative paid for the gift experience and a further payment of £20 would mean that, all in all, in excess of £50 would have been paid for 2 burger meals in a bar - some burgers they would have to be to be worth this! There are still 6 days to run on my 'experience' and yesterday, there was a week, but I still can't use it because it apparently takes 1-2 weeks to book a burger meal in a bar. I've been in touch with Activity Superstore by email non-stop over the past 2 days, but they will do nothing for me beyond asking for a further payment of £20 to extend the expiration date - totally not worth it for a burger meal I could have anywhere, anytime, any place! I believe that half the experiences advertised do not actually exist and the choices available either require further payment, or are miles away leaving the recipient with very little choices. The booking process is needlessly complicated and unclear and I am sure this is all done by design so that people give up trying to use their gift experience and it becomes 'money for nothing' for The Activity Superstore. I am now stuck with a useless gift experience with 6 days to run on it which I cannot use because booking my burger meal takes 1-2 weeks, apparently. Don't give your money away to this company because that's all you are doing, there is nothing to show for it. The voucher is not worth the paper its printed on.

Good selection, but info needs to be clearer

The things you can do on Activity Superstore are really good, but I actually had to swap my experience 3 times due to the very specific days of the experiences I'd picked. So the website could definitely do with being clearer on when exactly these experiences are able to be used. In saying that though, the customer support were incredibly helpful and accommodating with changing my experience, so I have given them 4 stars based mostly on this.

I was bought a voucher for a joint…

I was bought a voucher for a joint membership to English Heritage. Have validated voucher, but it takes them a week to send off, then another 21 days before I get any membership through. The voucher says validate it and start booking. I can't, no membership for a month. Ok it is a bit cheaper than going to EH direct, but by the time I've lost a month waiting for the membership it works out more expensive. Total scam. Go direct to EH and don't waste your money
