I ordered a fridge but delivery was too far away. I cancelled within two minutes and reordered and paid more for an earlier delivery. In spite of a swift cancellation I was charged for both which put me into financial hardship. On delivery day they tried to sell me an extra warranty and I asked about a refund and was told it had been processed and would be 3 days. A week later no refund. I rang again to be told refund bounced back (hmmm) and refund would be processed today and take 3-5 days (again). I’m happy with the item I ordered but not happy at all about being charged twice and not refunded. The payment should never have been processed!

The process from start to finish was easy and simple. The item was delivered on the date given and that was very quick.
I disliked the way you added costs to my invoice after I had bought the item and then these were discounted on delivery. It is much better to be open and honest and then I will come back to you. If I am concerned I will not.
After sales are non existent. 7 day week support apparently! 4pm Saturday they have disconnected my call twice! I have a right to return under the basic 8 consumer rights im Furious! I’ve had the product less than 30 days and it’s broken already! I’m leaving this review as proof of me attempting to tell you my product is faulty. I’ll see you in small claims.
Why this company has such a high rating is beyond me. Please really check before purchasing any refurbished items. We received a black hoover fridge freezer which had 2 large and 1 massive dent in the front. So much so that the paint was chipped off. Item was nothing like described. Also smelled like it hadn't been cleaned out. Called customer service. Only to be told they could refund £30 at most. I explained for the inconvenience (oh and I might add, the delivery came a day late) I would be willing accept £70 refund and I would just keep the item as I have just moved in and need a fridge. I was told the most they would refund in cash was £20. Or £30 credit. This I found laughable as I explained it would cost more than £20 in order to transport the fridge back. But they refused. So fridge is on its way back and I'm off to Marketplace. The quality of appliances I would imagine Is far superior

Thr ordering and delivery were good but I rang customer services and hot a foreign girl who wasn't listening to me then put me through to someone who couldn't help what is the number for appliances direct customer service. The after sales service is appalling
Good value and prompt delivery
Arrived on time with a phone call prior to arrival. The delivery men were unaware that I had paid for my freezer to be unpacked but did so for me. I would warn anyone with disabilities that you have to attach the handle onto the freezer yourself this caused me problems. If I had know prior to ordering I may have looked for a different make. Overall a happy bunny.
