I’m on my 5th order, just had great customer service and thought “I’ll give them a wee review”. Love the prices and the items are legitimate (for those also sceptical with budget online retailers), and they’re so happy to help if anything goes awry. -They readily communicated with DPD on my behalf, and corresponded with me via telephone until the issue was resolved. I’m very pleased. Also really like their own-brand sketch book/jotters. Not tried much else of theirs tho

My order arrived quickly. I was very pleased with how well it was packed, which is why I am leaving this review - first time I have left a review on here! I had ordered a set of pastel pencils and seen a review for another company where someone complained they weren't properly packaged so when posted through her letterbox they landed with a crash! Which is not what you want to happen with an expensive set of pencils. So I was a little worried. I didn't need to be though - these were very well wrapped up and insulated from any drops and also much cheaper than anywhere else.
I've made my order on 7th Dec and only today (12.10) I have received the confirmation "your order is ready to be shipped". Does it take 5 days to pack 2 brushes, 5 paints and some markers!?? I needed the supplies for a certain time frame, lets see how long will take for DPD to deliver.
I recently bought some wood painting panels (rounds) from Artdiscount.co.uk. I ordered a fairly large quantity and I was over the moon with them. I have a disability so order everything online these days. I have a lot of things arrive damaged because they are poorly packaged but these were really securely packaged so no problems there at all. They arrived very quickly 2 days later by DPD. I've just got around to using them and have found the wood rounds themselves are of excellent quality. Very strong with a solid backing so no chance of warping and a pleasure to paint on. If you are looking for good priced, solid wooden panels for acrylic painting, I would highly recommend buying from this company. Arrived fine.nicely packaged, with free gift and good value. Website is a bit ropey, kept appending 77 to my email address (and no stuck keys) and conveniently selected an expensive express delivery which was anything but.
Yet to receive items. Website is shall we say interesting. Firstly it kept adding 77 to my email address (no - my machine didn't have stuck keys), then somehow the higher rate of shipping was selected (again I didn't do this - only appeared after paying). The DPD driver then photographed the parcel in the porch then didn't deliver it.
I ordered from art discount and unfortunately, dpd messed up the delivery days, expected it Monday arrived Saturday early delivery a little too quick, I needed the supplies for a certain time frame, and dpd sent my parcel back to, Art discount before I had chance to collect or change delivery day… however the customer service at art discount were phenomenal with my problem, quickly and efficiently resolved the issue, will try again in future, when needed… thankyou for the support.

Avoid this company at all costs, little regard for their customers and no support from the office manager when you try and contact them to resolve issues. Much better service at Artway or Allcraft.
Ordered some paintbrushes as a Christmas present for a family member. Delivery was fast, no issues at all.
Was packed extremely well to avoid leaks, no issue with delivery. Have used ArtDiscount a couple of years ago, pretty reliable in my opinion.

Complained about the quality of a paint which was expensive, met with a ‘we don’t accept returns on used items’. No attempt to help or show any signs of customer service.

I ordered a gift for a grandchild and completed the online order with her delivery address. {I even put in my son's phone number] The package was delivered to me. Not a problem, as mistakes happen occasionally but to be told categorically that I was mistaken if I thought i had input her address was extremely annoying. I now have to pay a second lot of postage to send the parcel on. I am positive I input the address because the first time I tried to place my order it would not allow this so I started the transaction again. It is possible that there is a software glitch with Simply pay and Art discount website but this was denied on the grounds that I was "mistaken". [lying] Never buy from Granthms again.
In December I was working on a little project for work and ran into some issues. A phone call to Stephen at art discount (granthams) soon had things back on track. Both Stephen and Gareth were amazing and worked with me to find the right product for the task. Their help meant that one little boy opened a bespoke and one-off gift that he was totally thrilled with. Helpful, informative and amazing service, I will be buying all my art/print supplies from them, going forward.
I have only made two orders so far, but both have been with excellent service, even called me to check about my paint, and explain some were out of stock. Not had a problem with the paints, and they also emailed me back by a lady called Sue was very helpful. Would totally recommend.
