I ordered the Grungemaster guitar and was very impressed with it! I had to decide between that and another more expensive guitar and the choice was actually hard. It was very nice to play, the pick-ups sounded great, it felt great--but I went with the other guitar in the end for some of its extra specs. This review however is about the customer service team at Artist--they are the best! They accepted my return without issue and I wasn't charged for that--they responded very quickly via email--and, when I had an issue with my Fed Ex transaction, they quickly helped me resolve it! This may not have been the guitar this time--but with the quality of the instruments, the pricing, and the top service, I plan to be back for a different purchase and will certainly recommend.
Well previous reviews on artist I’ve been more than impressed over the moon actually Wanted a nice tele with single coils Nice guitar had contouring on the body that was cool But it’s just far far to heavy making it ungigable An absolute ton The only other gripe was the way the neck was finished behind the nut where the headstock starts it just felt really cheap and bulky not flowing nicely like a fender would If these 2 issues where addressed the guitar would have been unbelievable If it had been available in a thin line to reduce weight it would’ve been a better shout but sadly they all have humbuckers
I've ordered an Artist Cimmerian guitar and I am super happy with my purchase. The quality is superb for this price, the delivery was very prompt (much sooner than expected!) and the overall experience was great. I can not recommend them enough.
So I placed my order with Artist Guitars on Tuesday 31st October for the Artist TL69 but for some reason the in stock info kept changing throughout checkout. I managed to place my order and then double checked with customer service it had gone through. They were very helpful and assured me it had. It got to Friday and I still had no update or dispatch info so contacted Artist again. I was told the order had been placed on hold but they couldn’t explain why. They got back to me a little while later to say, they don’t actually have the stock and the warehouse is telling them that the guitar I ordered were actually the left handed version and they didn’t have any right handed ones left. So I wasted a few days but decided to change for another guitar the artist AT92 and this was actioned the same day and again customer service were really nice. So it’s now Tuesday 8th November the 9th day since ordering and the guitar finally arrived. I wasn’t sure whether to be Angry or laugh at how bad this one was. The quality is single handedly the worst guitar I have had in my hand in the 20+ years I have played at any price point. A big chunk of the logo was missing 2 strings were broke, the rusting on all strings were like nothing I had seen, I have no idea where they are storing them but to have the level of rust and residue on the strings is not like anything I have ever seen before. The frets feel horrible and scratchy, I’m shocked because online these seem to be good guitars, however in the U.K I don’t think the distributor is fit for purpose or storing guitars in adequate conditions. I get the stings can be changed and the frets polished etc but I have had used guitars arrive in quality far far better then what I got from artist. So bad from start to finish the only reason for 2 stars is the customer service has actually been good. However the distribution and guitar I got was awful. Even my wife who has no idea about guitars said “wow that’s awful I would be embarrassed to send that to a customer”.
My artist lp59 cherrie burst with case just arrived its better than I could ever imagine Even has fret end covers in the neck binding quality is outstanding. The neck is straight with a low action so no trust rod adjustment needed the trust rod cover I intend to fit an epiphone one couldn't fadem. why there was no scratch plate as 1959 les paul would of had one as I wanted it to look like Jimmy Page number 1so intended to fit one but now I've the finish on this guitar I'm having second thought I'm over the moon with this guitar haven't plugged it in yet but sure it will sound great thanks you Artist guitars.
I rarely review but just had too after receiving the new Grungemaster in black. It’s absolutely stunning, well setup pretty much out of the box, nice P90 pickups and honestly so much guitar for the money. Speedy service, excellent pricing, another guitar soon…
i recently bought an LP59 apricot burst. absolutely stunning guitar, looks & sound superb. had to give it a quick setup as the strings were flat to the fretboard when tuned to pitch. truss rod tweak & raised the bridge ( simple adjust ) i had to buy a pickguard from another company as i like to protect the body & i think they look better. it would be nice to have the option of a seperate guard as lots of people prefer them.
I bought a sunburst LP and I am thrilled to bits! I am not a great player but this guitar makes me feel a better one. Top quality, superb finish, and one of my friends asked 'how could you afford a Gibson?'. I much prefer this to my far more expensive guitars. thinking of going back for an electro acoustic! Check these out!
First rate service. I had a small delivery issue and they were on it. Very friendly and professional. I purchased a a LSPFXNT guitar. I own a Fender CD-60 so wasn't expecting much at this price point. I was extremely impressed with the finish, in was flawless. Surprisingly its heavier than the Fender again, at this price, I expected it to be a bit of a light weight, it's not, it's solidly built. The strings in came with were either extra light or light, ideal for beginners. I swapped them for 12-54, I think the guitar now sounds better, but it's subjective I know. No built in tuner, but it comes with an on-board pre-amp that includes, Chorus, reverb and delay and a built in speaker. Personally, I think it's a bit gimmicky, but I can see a beginner getting a lot of fun playing around with it. I'm more than happy to recommend the company and this particular guitar. You can't go wrong.
First class in every aspect. Recently bought a Les Paul from Artist Ap97 When it arrived and I unpacked it I couldn't believe my eyes. Looked felt and played identical to a Gibson costing nearly 8 times the price. I would say the quality was better than the 4 Gibson Les Pauls I have owned. So happy I was I went ahead and bought. TC-59 Telecaster off them, it arrived with no defects whatsoever, and I have a very keen eye too. Whole guitar arrived setup to perfection, nit, intonation frets all perfect. Artist Guitars after sales and presales is superb. I would always look to Artist Guitars first when buying a guitar
Bought a lefthanded tele great guitar can't fault it in any way looks great plays great and sounds great very low action with no buzzing or choking out even on double bends great company to buy from great communication and service the guitar was a £179 but the quality is amazing
I bought the Artist Tenor guitar because it had a truss rod which I felt a guitar needed when tuned DGBE/D. With the added bonus of a piezo pick up and gig bag I can only strongly recommend this guitar. Excellent value for the money. I haven't put it down!
Artist AP1 delivered today. What a fantastic guitar! Super quality with a deep beautiful bluesy sound - even makes me sound good! Delivered Monday when ordered Saturday! Unbeatable service too. After using a Gibson studio gold top for the last 10yrs plus a fender roadhouse deluxe I actually sold them And got the lp59 and recently the 58 335 holy crap these are now my main guitars They’re that good well I upgraded some of the switches etc The les Paul actually is a better guitar than my Gibson was ,I tend to think they’re very overpriced your only paying for the name plus the QC is awful and nitro paint is terrible it falls off Luckily I got the last cherry 335 they were out of stock after I clicked the button Pheeeew Artist you really do rock Thanks 🙏
Bought a Les Paul style Artist guitar case - arrived today. It is an amazing fit and is beautifully crafted. Comes with free delivery which is amazing value. Highly recommend for guitar cases - You wont find better quality and value, trust me I have looked everywhere!
Just received my lp59 beautiful guitar only one minus is that it has a high fret which can soon be sorted. Apart from that absolutely no complaints good service arrived when stated. Will definitely deal with again. Thanks

Beautiful little tenor guitar, straight out of the box has a gorgeous sound booth acoustic and plugged in. Can't wait to get gigging.
Just purchased a hard case (JC450) for an Epiphone Casino. This is the third item I have purchased from Artist Guitars and on each occasion my expectations have been more than met. Artist Guitars customer service is particularly excellent - highly recommended.
