I rarely review companies but wanted to because I am so impressed with Aspace. We have wardrobes, chairs and a desk from them - all great quality and very sturdy. When I let them know there was a small blemish on part of the desk I recently ordered, they arranged for an assembler to come to my house to replace the (very slightly imperfect) piece free of charge. He was on time, and very quick and efficient. I am very impressed

Excellent customer service from Aspace

Excellent customer service from this company. We ordered an expensive day bed in January 2023 but due to our ongoing renovation, the company agreed to hold onto it for as long as needed. The renovation has now finished but due to a number of issues and changes of configurations, the day bed was no longer appropriate for the room. I contacted Aspace in August, informed them of the situation and requested a refund. Without hesitation this was agreed to and the refund has duly arrived. We never got to sample the goods but I have no doubt if the good are as good as the after service, then they would have been excellent. Based on my customer experience, I would certainly recommend this company to family and friends. A particular thank you to Severine who was particularly helpful in this matterI

Nothing but positive things to say…

Nothing but positive things to say regarding customer service. I've had a few build issues with the bookcase I purchased but the communication and assistance with replacement parts etc has been perfect. This is a reminder why not to shop at the large furniture chain stores. I will purchase from Aspace again because of this experience. Thanks Ritchie

I’d recommend Aspace. The ladies who I spoke to when I had questions were most helpful, I always got a fast response on the live chat, even late one evening. Laura phoned to organise the delivery and she managed to squeeze us in later that week, so we had the products in no time. Great service.

Great customer service

Great customer service. I spoke with Laura on the phone, who advised me on a mattress to go with my son’s bed. Delivery was easy, the driver came within a few days and assembled the bed in my son’s room. Friendly and efficient, they kindly took all rubbish away. I can’t fault this company! Excellent products, excellent service. Will 100% buy again.

Complete rip off!!!

Complete rip off!!! Ordered in November FULLY WOODEN!! bedside cabinet with SMOOTH RUNNERS!! - £235 Arrived middle of February (leading time on advert- 6 weeks). FULLY MDF!! Just the pieces holding drawers in place were made of wood. Smooth runners? Hahaha... - bit of grease on the sides of the drawers..... Arrogant, patronizing reply to the complaint. It's a joke. It used to be reliable company selling premium products for premium prices. With premium customer service. What's left now is a premium prices.... Be aware......

Winchester Bunk beds

I have bought their Winchester bunk beds in Natural Beech and have been very pleased with them, they are worth every penny. They were easy to assemble and will be easy to take apart once the children have grown out of bunk beds. In the future we will be able to use them as two very stylish single beds without having to go out and buy new beds again. I have also found their futon has been extremely useful for an extra bed when we have had children for a 'sleep over'. I would definitely buy from them again and recommend them

Product Guarantees will not be honoured.

We bought a single bed (the PorterHouse) and classic single mattress from Aspace. The delivery took a very long time and once the bed arrived, its headboard was badly damaged. We complained and had another (eventually) sent out. We thought that that would be that. However just over the half way point of its 5 year 'guarantee' the mattress has popped open on a corner, with all of the stitching having come undone across that corner. On enquiring about a replacement being sent (given its 5 year guarantee) I have been told that they WILL NOT replace the mattress or honour the guarantee as they have changed supplier in that time? They wouldn't even offer any advice as to how to fix the issue. To be clear - This is the same product that is currently being pushed on the website (Porterhouse bed / single classic blue stripe mattress) with the same company name / logo / directors (Casper Williams) / address - everything. But because the people who made their mattresses have changed - they are refusing to honour their own guarantee or refund anything...However they have offered a discount on my next purchase of their mattresses. (lol) Beyond the poor quality of their furniture, and beyond being frankly speechless that a company would wiggle out of a guarantee like this - it brings more into question this: How can you trust a company like this, and would you trust yourself to buy products for your children from them, knowing that if something does go wrong - they have a history of wiggling out of any guarantees or in a sense - blame? I can only count on my experience (s) with Aspace but I no longer trust their products, or them and will not be using them again.

No goodwill & went into administration recently new owners

We purchased a Warwick high sleeper in dark blue with desk. The second bottom step is faulty and of poor build quality, in my opinion, it is dangerous as it not stable. The problem is the dowels and or the holes are not strong enough. On contacting the head office they told me "Unfortunately Aspace Ltd went into administration last year and the assets and brand name were bought from the administrators and a new company Aspace Holdings was formed. This company is totally unrelated to the original and as such we do not have any liability for any products sold by the previous company." They DON'T tell you this on their website and suggest its been going for years. Regardless of this it's still of poor quality and you would expect them to replace it, they chose to only SELL me a replacement so they are not an ethical business in my opinion.

Value for money

We bought 2 bunk beds a couple of years ago from Aspace shop and needed another pair for second child. They are online only now and were very open about their recent restructuring and also about the nature of the 'seconds' bunks I bought. Delivered on time and within 2 days - quality superb and still the best we found. Not cheap at full price but seems you get what you pay for from this company.

Terrible, don't waste your time

I ordered first set after website said in stock but they call over 2 weeks later to say over 8 week wait so asked for a refund which took over 2 weeks to arrive. Second set I ordered and the whole experience a joke, terrible customer service, never let you know whats going on, promise calls and never once returned a call or followed through on what they said they would do. Offered to rectify situation as had told them how disapointed i was, she said she would call following day and even though i sent an email the next day still never got a call, waste of time and energy. Ridiculous

Nightmare company, overlong wait and indifferent customer service

This company was a nightmare to deal with, despite being one of the costliest outlets for children's furniture. I waited months and furniture didn't make an appearance and they didn't get in touch. When I chased, customer service was lackluster, with no apology, wrong information and no resolution. I waited another 6 weeks. I was so frustrated. I was promised a £50 refund which I have never seen. When the products finally arrived: they liked good but not sure they were worth what I paid as they do not look as good as the pics at all. Furthermore, the bunk bed once they are separated are EXTREMELY low to the ground. Not a good look. The slats on one of the beds got really badly damaged early on, with only a little 6 year old lying in it most of the time. Finally, their pocket spring mattress is simply appalling. Unfortunately, in order to match the bed colour and size, I will probably need to order a trundle from them and prepare to wait for old age to set in while I wait, otherwise I will never buy from these guys again.
