I was sent a celebration cake for my birthday, I’d imagine it was a small celebration cake that would serve 10-12 people or just one if you don’t want to share with anyone. It was delivered on Friday and when tasted on the Sunday it’s lovely. I’ve ordered a letterbox cake for someone from these guys before and the whole process is easy and straightforward. Can confirm that the receiver of the letterbox cake also confirmed it was a lovely cake.
Brownies didn’t turn up for child's birthday. I did receive a very prompt response and refund once the offices had re opened on the Monday but I had really been looking forward to them for the weekend. Real shame
Ordering process was very simple. I experienced friendly & helpful customer service when I called to check all was on track as I’d pre-ordered a large cake for a big birthday party. Cake was delivered on time, extremely well packaged/protected and was delicious. Highly recommend BakerDays as a company.
Ordered a large 60th birthday cake for a party. Had half and half sponge. The cake arrived exactly on time , was well packaged to ensure safe arrival. The cake was delicious, lovely and moist. Everyone absolutely loved it.
Fabulous! Cake was amazing and my dad was so surprised and pleased to get it. Printing of the photo in the cake was really good and by all accounts the lemon drizzle cake was super tasty. Very pleased x
This is the second time I have ordered a cake from Bakerdays and have not been disappointed one bit. Both arrived on time, very well packaged so they could not move an inch. We did not need them straight away but kept fresh for over a week, both delicious especially the lemon drizzle one. I would definitely recommend them 👌.
Cake ordered did not arrive on day of occasion. Called Bakerdays customer service number atleast 15 times during operation hours and no answer ( I have proof of this). Customer service replied 3 days later saying refused the delivery and we will refund. I'm not going to be at home on Monday and delivery guy will probably just leave it at the entrance. What am i supposed to do with an out of date birthday cake? cannot comment on cake as didnt arrive but a company leaving you hanging for a birthday is frustrating.
I wanted a cake to help me and my congregation celebrate my 30yrs of being a Church of England priest. So not the norm. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in coming up with a suitable design. The cake was exactly what I wanted and there were a lot of comments not only on how lovely the cake looked but how wonderful it tasted. It truly could've have been better and I will certainly use Bakerdays again.

I think this company is AMAZING! They have the best customer service; George was an absolute legend helping me with my son's birthday cake and making sure it arrived in plenty of time. He even added a note for extra lemon curd for the lemon drizzle filling and it was gorgeous! Will only ask for next time that the image for the Musical Theatre cake be the exact same one as the photo displayed on the website because I was wanting the Phantom of the Opera mask and got two masks instead. Still good but my son really wanted the Phantom mask so that was a disappointment! However, will definitely be reordering from you again! THANK YOU!
Amazing I have complained previously however, this is a new review, i ordered again because the cakes are so nice. I was impressed this time round, it was not the company's fault, when the delivery driver arrived, he did not actually come to knock on my door so I was going around in circles asking where my cake was, because he did not ring the bell. George from Baker DAays was very very good, he went above and beyond to help me, he chased the courier service, he did everything for me, kept keeping me informed because I needed it that day, even in the past they posted another one the same day as first cake was little blurry. So thank you George for that and I will continue ordering cakes from you, he also gave me a discount as well. Amazing designs, and I prefer fodant cakes than cream ones, so this is a bonus and they do gluten free. Highly recommended.

Our cake, for a 70th Anniversary arrived well packaged. The quality of the photo (an old black and white photo) that was reproduced on the cake was fine and the cake decorated beautifully. It tasted good too! Very pleased with the service and product.
I have had several cakes from Bakerdays and they have been wonderful. I ordered one for a joint 40th Birthday we were celebrating on 13th April. The cake was ordered for 10th April as we were travelling to Bristol for the party. The cake didn't arrive due to a delivery company problem and I contacted George at Bakerdays. Many e-mails later and the cake was redirected to the address in Bristol in time for the celebration. The cake was lovely and went down well. When we arrived home on 15th April another cake had been delivered to us!! Thank you yo Bakerdays for the lovely cakes and to George for all his help. Brilliant
Bought a cake for my daughters 2nd birthday. Was packaged securely and was undamaged. Looked and tasted amazing. Had lots of compliments about it! 2nd cake we have had from here now, and will be placing a third order for my son's birthday 😋.

Hit major snag with the font style 'I chose' the word RETIRED looked like RETTRED on receipt of the cake. Customer service agreed it 'looked wrong' however was told it was totally my responsibility for not checking how the font 'looked'. I quadrupled checked the spelling, not the font/spacing. Would have expected a basic quality check which would have resolved the issue which totally spoilt the surprise celebration. Sent an email offering suggestions to improve the process and asking my dissatisfaction be escalated. Was ignored. Chased again and still received a response from George on the Sales team with an unhelpful response.
Ordered a birthday cake for a relative as a surprise. Box turned up empty, no cake. Contacted Customer Service, they advised me they sent the cake. We provided photos to prove the box was empty. Refund refused. Shame really as previous experience good It only takes a few minutes "to lose a good customer"
