Last week I ordered a hand knit aran sweater , had a few questions and very soon got a friendly answer via email . Today the package arrived ( Austria ) , such a beautiful and well done sweater !! It was well packed and the shipping was quite fast . I recommend Blarney Woollen Mills .
Great quality sweaters - I have ordered multiple times - for my husband, for myself, for my father - very soft, warm, and very natural! Also great variety of Irish skincare and very nice Rathbornes candles (natural scent, not plastic nor too artificial). Items are always very well packed and package is reusable. No problem with delivery (FedEx).
Went to have some lunch on 3 occasions now just found the service very slow very young unexperienced boys and girls and that's fine if it was 1 or 2 young people but every aspect of the restaurant was serviced by young people we order some sandwiches which were very scarcely filled dry and tasteless food counters were not very appetising to look at let alone eat from the salads in the bar were not presented very well as they say you eat with your eyes and the food said it all iv eating there 3 times over the last 2 months and the experience food wise was never good the setting itself is lovely extremely disappointed a tourist area aswell
Bought a 2 recycled 100% wool throws set. Was impressed by the idea of reuse! Got email confirmation pretty much immediately and my throws today, 2 days after ordering. They are beautiful! Also good value and bonus points for the recycled wool. In the parcel also received a little booklet with the story of the Blarney Woollen Mills. I'm going to order more for Christmas presents.
Worse than awful to deal with re online ordering. Their website allowed me to place an order, with a promise of 3-4 day delivery (for which I paid extra) which they confirmed... and then nothing happened. Their phone number just yields an answerphone message saying 'There is no reply'. Their main email address yielded no response. Only badgering on FB finally got them to admit that the item I had been allowed to order was out of stock (just at the point where I was about to report the incident to my credit card company.. I had understandably started to assume I had been scammed). Only a scant eventual apology and explanation; no offer of refunding my money; I just had to wait until they eventually obtained the item they 'thought' they'd had in stock. Appalling service. Avoid at all costs, is my advice.
I was in their coffee shop/restaurant last Sunday 10th Oct. and as I need to use a walking stick I was having a few difficulties managing the tray. The manager and the waitress were so pleasant and kind it made my day. The waitress even carried my tray outside for me. I appreciated the kindness very much.
The jumpers...unbelievable quality. I am not joking when I say this, BWM surpasses any other brand when it comes to quality. Yes it is pricey, but their jumpers are 100x better quality than Ralph Lauren or any other high end brand. Amazing. TOTALLY RECOMMEND! (Delivery was good!)
We placed our first order with this company and it took forever to deliver it. Plus the goods were faulty. UPS are atrocious. This is the courier they use. Our second delivery has still not arrived. I've contacted the company but they never reply. They keep sending me marketing emails though. UPS keep the message on their website that the delivery will be today and this goes on and on. Steer clear is my advice. I wouldn't want anyone to be treated like we've been treated.
So excited to receive an "early" Christmas 2020 pressie in the post today from my husband. A beautiful "Lily" Aran (natural coloured) jumper. Perfect size, high quality and luxuriously soft wool. A piece of history in every stitch. I absolutely love and adore my new garment and I plan to spread the joy by informing my family and friends about my new gift and recommending Blarney Woollen Mills. Went there today for Afternoon tea with my family nine of us. Absolutely amazing l. Superb the ladies surving us were so helpful and kind. We had 4 children under 9 with us and the girls were so accomadating to the kids as some didn't want tea so they gave apple juice. The afternoon tea itself was fabulous great variety of sandwiches and cakes on it. Also one of my family members is vegetarian and they were also accomadating to that. They brought us extra sanwhiches also and pots and pots of tea and coffee. Would definitely reccomend and will definitely be back.
I did an amazing experience in Ireland and I wanted buy something for my family. I have bought some items from Blarney Woollen Mills with destination Italy. After a month I received my order. All the items were well covered and protected but unfortunately 2 bowls were damaged. I immediately sent them an email with photos. They are so excellent that less then 24 hours later they sent to me another replacement package. I am very happy because the products quality are very high and they were a perfect and elegant present for everyone. Anna
