I recently visited this website, and everything was good until I decided to use the chat option right-hand side, I showed Sue Chef, it looked old, but I tried to get some meal recommendations as I was lost on the site. I typed my message and tried to deliver it, but the chat didn't work I was disappointed and left the site. the company should fix the customer support first.
The service was decent but the food was good. Not too much of a wait time. Will recommend and return again!
Overall, the food is always good. There's no problem with that. What's gone wrong lately is the customer service and quality control. This year in our Thanksgiving box, we received the knick-knack bag for the Smoky Delicata Squash with Pepitas & Almonds instead of the Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Fried Rosemary & Pumpkin Seeds. I emailed in a panic asking *what to do.* The response was the standard "sorry" and here's a refund. That's not what I asked and wasn't really all that helpful. I figured it out, but was pretty resentful that I didn't get any help in the middle of prepping (by myself) a huge holiday dinner. Next issue is the recipe cards. I've sent this feedback every single year. It is *not* helpful to have four different recipe cards. No one can cook a holiday meal like that. I end up sorting through everything and figuring out the timings and then taping the cards to the wall so I can refer to them quickly without dealing with cards on top of hundreds of ingredients in a small kitchen. Give me a timed out schedule that puts the entire meal in order of what needs to be done. I appreciate the prep the night before list, but it's not close to enough organization that I would expect from a company like Blue Apron. Or like make an app that lets you pick the box and the addons you chose and let's you set when everything needs to be ready and then calculates the timing. How hard would that even be? Just sayin'.
So disappointed at this point. Shrimp has been substituted in two separate dinners, the last time with no explanation. Contacted BA and was told a credit would be done for the shipping. Never showed up. Contacted again and was given (double) credit. Okay-good, until we tried to eat the steak we had ordered. The meat was so tough and gristly that we threw it out and ordered pizza. We have been with BA for years, but with the way 2024 is going it looks like 2023 will be our last.
The meals are always tasty. I would prefer a few additional options that are not Southwest focused. Those have been quite prevalent.
Quality ingredients, easy recipes, tasty dishes!
the food is delicious, affordable and have high quality ingredients. The recipes do take on average 35-45 minutes to prepare. I don't mind others might. I enjoy cooking and am always so happy when it looks just like the recipe card.
We love getting Blue Apron meals. It gave us a chance to make dinners that we wouldn't normally make, and new also ways to prepare vegetables and side dishes that we can repeat on our own when we cook.

Sometimes the vegetables aren't fresh. Like zucchini, tomatoes, lemon. Overall it's still been good food. Just had to go buy the vegetables.
It's fresh and good quality. My only issue is there aren't many options for the two person meal.
I love not having to worry about the dinner menu for the week and the meals are delicious. Plus my husband is able to follow the step by step instructions to make some of the dinners. Totally lifesaver for my family. I love to sit down and eat healthy and delicious dinners.
All the recipes were good & i didn't have to go to the store
The quality of food I received was horrible. Veges "ok" but not all of them fresh. The meats; steak, chicken and salmon were tough, lacked flavor and I could not eat the salmon.
Everything was delicious
As expected, the (ham) Holiday Meal was delicious! All the dishes got rave reviews from my table, and everyone was impressed that I was able to tackle all the prep myself. With the leftover ham, I made a yummy soup. As a suggestion, might Blue Apron include a few "leftover" recipes?
The Holiday Meal kit was a great idea! I would definitely do it again. My only concern was that it took several hours, which I did not expect, and the sides were very “heavy”. A future option might be a “lighter” holiday feast. Thank you for helping me feed my family! It was a big hit!
I was able to personalize the preparation of the courses to create at least three meals for two! I still have some cooked, but uneaten roast, potatoes, triffle, and carrots and lettuce. I sliced the roast and wrapped the slices so I could re-heat them by a sear in the skillet. I had plenty of the saue left over, so that reheated nicely to finish up the "steaks". The one slice that is left go in a panini!
The meal kit was one of the best ideas for the holidays. I was able to make an amazing dinner for my guests and I had everything at my fingertips. It was so easy, so delicious and just absolutely an A+ all around. Please keep doing these and maybe could even buy two for a larger crowd I really really think this is a great idea. Thank you, Blue Apron.
