Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. Emma manager from Bonmarche Store Romford is a very nasty woman, she didn't not accept a return item without tag from a vulnerable person customer who is inpatient in Hospital. Shame on you all Bonmarche customer service!

Brilliant assistant but poor manager!

Today was my 3rd visit to Bonmarche in Southend, Essex. The first was last autumn where we were greeted by a lovely assistant called Sharon. I had an elderly client with me and Sharon was brilliant with her, so patient and understanding that her hearing and eyesight are both poor and she had specific ideas of what she wanted... she took her time with her and she was so grateful and very happy with her purchases! The second visit I came alone on behalf of the same client. I approached the desk and asked the assistant if she had a specific item in. She was on her phone, didnt once look up and just said "no we only have whats out". Her name was Wendy and I later found out shes the manager! I was about to leave when Sharon appeared, immediately asked me if she could help and when I explained what I was looking for she assisted me in finding 7 of the exact item my client wanted! I was very disappointed by the actions of the manager, no customer service at all and didnt once make eye contact. Thankful Sharon was there so I didnt return to my client empty handed. Today was my 3rd visit. Luckily Sharon was working again today, I showed her the email from my 89 year old lady and she immediately got to work and assisted me to find no less than 6 pair of summer trousers that she was looking for. I realise I could probably find these on my own however Ive a very busy schedule and having someone who knows the shop inside out and who seems like nothing is too much trouble greatly helps me! Perhaps the 'manager' could use a bit more training in customer relations. Thanks again Sharon and I really hope that you're there on our/my next visit!

I visited bonmarche yesterday afternoon…

I visited bonmarche yesterday afternoon looking for some holiday clothes, there was a good range. Shop was very clean and tidy .but what stood out the most was the wonderful staff, they where really helpful, 😀 and had fantastic customer service, please could you send them a message so they are aware of there great customer service, it was the wolverhampton branch I visited. I cannot open an account

I cannot open an account, your system does not like my address or password whatever I put in. I have been buying clothes from Bonmarche for years now I can’t buy anything as any information I put in will not work and it says that the email I use the sign in is already being used. Help please.

No customer service

Placed an order online to collect in store 10 days ago. Received an email 2 days later to say my item had shipped. Since then no updates, they've ignored my email. First time I've ordered from them and the last. Shocking customer service.

The worst company that I have ever…

The worst company that I have ever dealt with. Customer Service is a joke when I was told by them that there is nothing that they can do. Ordered online using their size guide sizes were 5" smaller than stated. Then to add further insult I was told that I had to pay to return the items because I paid by PAYPAL! even though the items were not as described! DISGUSTING service. Would never buy from them again. I will avoid at all costs. Beware of the company return situation if you pay by Paypal. So it has cost me £2.99 to return the parcel just to try the items on at home.

only one store miles away from me so ordered a bra on-line know my size this is not good doesn't fit well not comfortable at all not sure I will buy again took a while for it to arrive cannot return as been wearing for a few days to get used to it thinking it was my size but fit is not good at all the catches at the back seem to irritate me.

I find the online ordering very easy…

I find the online ordering very easy and clear to us. I always choose delivery to shop and it’s usually very quick. Going in to the shop gives me a chance to look round at everything too.

Appalling customer service

I purchased a dress online & it was due to be delivered to the Bromley store. After waiting nearly 2 weeks without being notified, I phoned to see if they had my item. The answerfone was on so I left a message. I tried a couple of more times that afternoon. As I had still received no phone call by the next day I phoned again. I tried 3 times - the phone was engaged. I then phoned & got the answerfibe. No one change me back. I was forced to go into the store & queue for about 10 minutes. My parcel was there. I was told they do not listen to their answerfine and didn't have my correct phone number. I wondered why I didn't receive an email. Very annoying.

You pay to return online purchase

Wanted to return item, went to shop and was told that as I ordered via Bonmarche website and paid by PayPal ( I never use my debit card online for security reasons) I would have to return item by post and pay for the return. Evri charge £2.70 to return.Will not be buying from online shop again. Too much hassle if item doesn't fit and you need to return
