I discovered a significant price drop of an item on Amazon while it was in transit. Amazon doesn’t have the price protection they used to but when I contacted the seller I was taken care of promptly. Purchased an item online on January 1. Received a confirmation email of my order same day. I expected it to arrive in 2-4 weeks. I needed it by the middle of this month (February). Six weeks went by and no communication from them since January 1. I called Customer Service today. Employee was very nice and helpful. My item has not been in stock since the time of my order and there was no indication in Customer Service as to when, or IF, the item would be restocked. I think a courtesy email on January 1 or 2 to let me know the item was out of stock and subsequent updates would have been standard for any retail company. (I was able to find a similar item elsewhere and it will arrive tomorrow, well in time for my business trip.) I asked for a refund and she said she'd put in a request. First time doing business with this company and last time doing business with this company. When I'm spending my money, effective communication is my number one expectation regarding customer service and you guys dropped the ball on that one. Your overall review rate is good so perhaps this was a one-time glitch.

I made a mistake and purchased the wrong type of tv for the space I was going to put it in. The tv is specifically a wall mount tv and I needed a stand tv. I contacted customer service about an exchange/refund and they were able to work with me and get me setup so I could get the stand from LG and make the tv work. We had a problem with our Cuisinart 12 cup coffee center in which the lid was broken and the back had a crack in it. We contacted Dane and Maria from Beach Camera Same Day Shipping and they were outstanding. Unfortunately they were unable to replace my coffee center but they returned my full refund payment but the extraordinary thing they did was they allowed my to donate the coffee center to the local volunteer fire company, who was greatly appreciated for it, since it still worked besides the cosmetic damage and lid. Other companies would have me cut the cord and throw it away or return it. It’s great to know that there still are caring and considerate people out there in today’s cutthroat and money hungry business world. Dane and Maria actually give us doubtful consumers still hope in today’s small business society. Thank you Dane and Maria for your thoughtfulness and kind act and the fire company thanks you sincerely. They will set it up for their food kitchen this coming weekend. Thank you again.
