Phoned customer service today @ 16.23pm 29/4/24 0818668888. I asked Sophie, a customer service question to which she replied “Let me check that” & left me holding the line. After a total of exactly 1 hour on the phone, she had failed to come back.

Really helpful staff in store who spent lots of time helping me transfer data over to a new iPad. They lost a star due, in my opinion, to them having an over complicated and a bit glitchy website.

Bought and paid for new MacBook with AppleCare online with pickup at Select store in York. The VAT invoice given by the shop erroneously charged for FREE warranty, training and services. I was promised to receive an amended invoice by email in a couple of days but never received that, despite sending several reminders I need a correct VAT invoice as this is a business laptop. Also I paid extra for AppleCare which still, 2 weeks later, has not been confirmed by Apple. Disappointed

Great online shop…… the only thing is I can’t pay for my order. I try a few different browsers, by the phone. Different methods of payment!!!!! Still nothing. Customer service ofcourse can not help me. Joke Update with more details: I spoken with customer’s service in my bank, everything was OK with my card. Transaction was rejected every time when i was trying to pay on selectonline. After one hour I made online payment on different website with no problem at all (for e that’s mean that not was wrong with my card)

I was a silly fellow and managed to lock myself out of my laptop, and at some point in time I had enabled it to only allow for a recovery key. I was worried that I had bricked by laptop and would loose all my files. however after taking it to the select store in telford the worker there named Steph helped reassured us that I had not lost access to any files except a few that were stored using an alternate method. she then guided us though the process of wiping the Mac and restoring data using the iCloud, once the Mac was up and running she then offered to help re install one of the more difficult applications to re install, which, after seeing the process, I'm certain I would not have been able to do my self. overall, Steph this has helped me beyond measure, as the stress of the laptop had being killing me for days. all of this was done while maintaining a professional and incredibly friendly matter. this is the absolutely best place to go incase of emergency with your computers
