TERRIBLE customer service and faulty product!

I purchased a faulty outdoor dining table set from cuckooland back in 2019- for context the set is currently selling for over £2000. I was given a replacement after a painful process of sorting out with them which seemed fine but the exact same problem has occurred with the new table. I have emailed them 3 times (2nd, 8th and 17th of April)with pictures and noted them of my rights under the consumer credit act and have still not received any response. I plan to call them tomorrow so will keep this post live to let you know whether it gets resolved or if this supposedly platinum award winning customer service company is ghosting their customers with complaints !

Literally no response from customer service

Initial service seemed okay although order was delayed for a few weeks due to 'customs'... the order arrived damaged and when I sent some photos a very nice lady informed me they'd send the replacement parts. 2 months later and I've sent a load of follow up emails to which I have received no reply and I haven't been able to speak to anyone via phone either. I'm just being ignored and have been given no update, explanation or apology. I still haven't made the wardrobe up due to the damage so I'm left with a bunch of useless parts taking up space in my house and no response at all from cuckooland. Very disappointed and frustrated in the lack of response and I'm left wondering how to take this forward.

Have they gone out of business?

I bought a child's bed before Christmas and it has one broken step which I have tried to get replaced. All to no avail.......

No customer service !!!

No customer service !!! I bought a bed from Cookoland back in November which was partially delivered since then. However, some elements of the bed did not arrive 4 months later..... Their landline is closed, they did not respond to my emails either even they say we will come back to you in 2 workings days.... and it seems like I'm not the only one in this situation reading other people's experiences. We've been robbed basically. Beware before buying from them.

Terrible customer service

I ordered a bed for my son and paid an extra £245 for Cuckooland to arrange for it to be assembled. This is much more than other companies (such as IKEA) charge for similar beds. The bed was delivered on 23/01/2024. After waiting a couple of weeks for Cuckooland to get in touch re assembley, we emailed them at their email address (05/02/2024) which they say is regularly monitored (it is not). No response. 4 emails now sent at regular intervals; no response. I’ve tried their customer service telephone line every day for 2 weeks; they don’t pick up and don’t have a chance to leave a message. They only refer to their email address (the one they don’t answer). I can’t find any other telephone contact details online. My son has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for 6 weeks. We have a pile of huge unopened boxes in our hallway for 6 weeks blocking the way. What an appalling level of customer service based on an exceptionally high figure of £245 for bed assembley. And still no response to our emails.

Ordered garden tables and chairs mid December 2023. No updates about where my order is and no answer to my phonecalls or email. Have just been informed that this company has now gone into administration and I won't be receiving any compensation from them. Asked me to get a refund from my card company.

Dishonest Company

Dishonest Company. I ordered £1200 of chairs, and was told immediately they were no longer being stocked. A full refund would be given in 3-5 days. 4 weeks later no refund and no answers to repeated email requests. Their telephone line says they are moving warehouse and won't take a message. They most likely are no longer trading. My advice, keep well away from them.

Cuckooland in administration

It seems Cuckooland has gone into liquidation or worse, the message on the phone line says 'we are moving warehouse and not accepting any new orders' but the website is accepting payments and orders, how is this possible? The delivery company called to say they had not received any orders from Cuckooland for weeks and no one at Cuckooland was picking up the phone! Have made complaint to FCA.

Be very careful. Shop is now under liquidation so there is a risk your order may not be fulfilled or refunds/exchanges are refused. I am shocked the website is still live.

Like all the other recent reviews - I ordered a Swyft sofa in November, and after many delays with delivery, I was contacted by Swyft who were the ones to tell me Cuckooland had gone into administration and so they could no longer deliver the sofa. I have STILL not been told by cuckooland, I have tried to contact them but they have an automated line saying they are in the middle of a warehouse move, and I have no idea what will happen to the £1800 I have spent which was a HUGE financial commitment for me. I am so disappointed and upset with lack of customer service and potential stalling and lies that have been told to delay this and am extremely stressed about the financial implications.

COMPANY IN LIQUIDATION

COMPANY IN LIQUIDATION - Bought a few products, waited a while for shipping then a couple weeks later we received an email saying the company has gone into liquidation and we are non secured creditors. It doesn’t look like we are getting our money back (£1300) DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I can’t believe the website is still active and you can still purchase . For large purchases use credit cards if you can, the process for getting your money back is far easier.

I bought a garden corner sofa set on 15.01.2024, a week later a left corner of the wrong garden set has been delivered with other 3 items missing. Delivery team said that they had only one item on the list to deliver and I need to raise an issue with the seller. I've raised an issue on the seller web-site, emailed numerous times but no one has came back to me. Phone lines are closed with the message that they are moving warehouses. Now I've seen that I am not the only one in such situation and the company most likely gone bust. Will have to go through the hassle of chargeback through credit card company. What a nightmare 🙁

This company has gone bust. I’ve lost my money after waiting 2 months for a bed for my little boy. Instead of offering a refund when clearly the company was in financial difficulties they have lied repeatedly about waiting for a new shipment. Now I have been emailed telling me they’ve gone bust and I won’t be refunded.

Liquidation and no order received

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE - PLEASE READ MY COMMENTS! A few days before my order was due to arrive (early Jan) I emailed customer service to query when I would receive my order as the status had not changed on my order. I was advised there would be a slight delay but should be with me within a few days. My item is now 11 days late and when I've emailed customer service again for an update I have not received a reply. More worryingly I have today received an email stating the company is going into liquidation and I may lose my money unless my bank will refund me? The company still looks like it's trading as their website is fully operational. Are they going into liquidation and still knowingly accepting orders or is this an additional scam from cuckooland? I have paid £600 for my order on the 28th of December and no sign of it at all and I now don't know if I will ever recieve it?

SCAM company!!!!

Ordered a beanbag just before new year for my son's birthday which is late Jan. Was informed at the beginning of Jan that there would be a delay, then a week later again saying there was further delays and the beanbag wouldn't be available till Feb. Apparently that'd be too late for my purpose so I cancelled my order via email and was told the refund would be done in 3-5 days. Now 2 weeks have passed, I still haven't got any refund. emailed twice and nobody replied. Called the custom number on their website and only reached an auto message saying "we are in a warehouse move, please email". So my money is gone and can't speak to anyone????

Done some digging and they have gone into administration - shocking! Seems like they knew this was coming too…..
