Order number: NZ-77585 I made a purchase from diamond factory NZ and realise that most of these reviews are from the UK. I called the 09 number and there is no answer machine and no-one answers, no-one responds on the chat, it just times out and says someone will contact you, it is very strange for an apparent big company and I am starting to worry whether it is legit. I bought the emerald earrings 4 weeks ago and it is still in crafting all though these should be delivered within 2-4 weeks and it has been 4 weeks now.
I was interested in buying a Diamond Pendant necklace from them and I noticed that the top of the web-page they had this statement: "Price match guarantee. Found a better price? We’ll beat it.*". So I looked around on google and found a better price at Abelini for same item. I called Diamond Factory last weekend and asked if they can beat the price from Abelini and gave them exact specification of the item from Abelini to compare. The customer service (CS) person compared both items and agreed with me that this is the SAME item but said: since its a weekend, our technical team is not available to look into this, please call during the week. I patiently waited and called them on Monday and nobody picked up. The Reason for The Bad Review: I called them today and gave them all the details as my last call with them. After checking, the CS said: "Abelini are using a different stone and our price is still lower then them if the stones match". But the stones were the exact same, how do I know? BECAUSE BOTH HAD THE EXACT SAME IGI DIAMOND CODE! not only that but when using this diamond code, the Abelini one came out to be even cheaper. When the CS was confronted with this fact, they said: ooh the chain parameters are different. Even though, the chain parameters were also same, I asked them to just beat the stone price and they were not willing to Honour that. Based on my experience, The Diamond Factory are a dishonest business. I wrote this review to warn others not get tricked by their misleading marketing. If anyone from Diamond Factory wants to look into this, I have taken screenshots both from Diamond Factory and Abelini.
P''S poor quality. Ordered a tennis bracelet as a Christmas gift. The stress i went through to get it on time was the starting point. Its been worn twice, diamond missing already. Had to book an appointment to get it looked at. The promptly came back with photos to prove "accidental damage" to both the outside and inside of the bracelet to show me it was my fault !!! And now want to charge me to put it right!! without checking the rest of the bracelet was actually made correctly. I am currently awaiting for it to be returned so i can get a "real " jeweller to assess the damage and cause. Unprofessional , no accountability, mickey mouse outfit, will not use again and would highly recommend you use a reputable jeweller. Do not use!!!! TBC - will update
Excellent customer service & great value Amber from their Leeds office looked after me and was excellent throughout the process. I booked an appointment to choose an upgrade on my original engagement ring and was carefully talked through the various ring options, but found myself unable to decide during my hour slot. There was no hard sell and she suggested I think about it and come back again, which I did a couple of days later. Pricing was clear and I was able to select options to suit my budget and try on plenty of different styles. I have now received my ring, the diamond is beautiful, and I think I got excellent value for money. The service during the intervening period, including adjusting my wedding ring, was excellent. I thoroughly recommend Diamond Factory.
Where do I start!? Literally confirmed my engagement ring order solely due to Jordane!! After visiting many diamond businesses- I was finally deliberating over 3 stores. My final decision was made due to the service level provided by Jordane! She’s an absolute “gem”!! I had found something slightly cheaper at another business (who also guaranteed the ring delivery earlier!) but Jordane’s service was second to none. Her attitude, enthusiasm, genuine service was so positive, she made you feel like she genuinely cared and was happy for you! Screaming and shouting out of happiness!! No pressure sale, did what she could to get price down, just a pleasure to deal with!! In fact I once waited inside the shop for 1 hr (while she was with another customer) JUST so I could deal with her!! True asset to the business!! She made sure I got my ring on time!! (Engaged abroad literally the day after collection)! The only downfall would be the fact that I came a few days later (1 hr drive with my elderly mother) to discuss something else. We got there at 4.45 (they close at 5) we were not greeted appropriately and they even spoke to us through the door as they closed earlier than stated! Honestly felt like a second class citizen. Such a shame as they recognised me but still failed to treat me like a paying customer (I paid in full for a ring few day ago). Firstly they shouldn’t be closing earlier than stated. I even acknowledged that they will close soon. Just wanted a few mins to discuss something and potentially spend more on jewellery!! But speaking through the door was an absolute diabolical approach. Jordane was off that day. Shame! I already spent my money and they couldn’t recognise that! Probably doesn’t deserve 5* BUT Jordane does for sure!! Wouldn’t go back without dealing with Jordane! Absolute star!! Thank you again!!
