This is a amazing company which puts the customer first while offering wonderful Deli products. I had placed an order for sweet biscuits and one box was only just past the Best Before date. As it was meant as a gift, I asked for a refund, but accepted a replacement instead. This came today: not one box, but 2 replacement boxes! I certainly recommend this company for its great customer service, high standard and swift delivery!

I bought the raw sheep cheese. Absolutely beautiful, texture, tasty, looks it's got the lot! I haven't had sheep cheese like that since I lived in the Basque country!
We had an issue with one of the cheeses delivered over Christmas. However the excellent Katie mentioned in another review came through with a super replacement and it arrived exactly as promised. In short very good and able to make amends when there is a problem.

I buy twice each year from this excellent company. I note that in the reviews of Fine Cheese less than 50% approve of its customer service, and some reviewers complain about quality, delivery, and so on. Heaven knows why..!! I live in Colorado, USA, and send my Fine Cheese gifts to my sister and her husband in UK. Whenever I have a doubt or a question I simply pick up the 'phone and, usually, I am connected to the incomparable Katie, who ALWAYS assists me in a very professional and humourous way. Please keep going as you do at present, Fine Cheese (and not forgetting Katie), and I will stay a loyal customer, some 4,000+ miles away, as long as I possibly can. Dr. J. Paul Massam.
I would not recommend this Company. I requested certain cheeses and none of those selected arrived. I accept the fact that not all the cheeses I requested may not have been available but NONE - really!!!. Other than the names of the cheeses I have no idea of the origin. No fact sheets attached. Worse of all. 3 of the cheeses best by dates are the 22nd of November 2023. Which is the day after I received them and I received them at about 21:00 on the 21st of November (2023). NOT impressed.
Wow!!! We were blown away with our cheese wedding cake; it was everything was envisioned and more. The service was very professional, we were contacted to be advised one of the cheeses was not up to quality that the company would be happy providing us with. They offered us an alternative cheese to replace this one which was equally as delicious. The delivery of the cheeses went without hitch and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed all of these cheeses we had picked. We could not recommend the Fine Cheese Company more, 10/10!!! I ordered the Faye Cheese wedding cake for my wedding this Saturday (costing £220) and it arrived today and I'm so disappointed. Firstly it's delivered by DPD which is always a nightmare - they didn't even ring the doorbell, just dumped it on the path in the hot sun even though I was in waiting for it to arrive. Secondly there were aqssembly parts missing and although I was promised they would be posted out tonight, they won't be here intime for the wedding. I was told to use a cookie cutter instead so now I have to go and buy one from somewhere. The cake is tiny and how they think it's going to feed 55-80 I don't know so now my guests are going to be disappointed (and hungry) as well. They very cleverly only give the weights and not the dimensions and the cheese on the top tier is laughable - how we're supposed to get our cake topper on that I don't know. I'm going to Waitrose to see if they have anything more suitable. I'm sure it's very nice cheese but is it a wedding cake suitable for 80? No. I'm not going to let it ruin my wedding as it's too late to do anything about it now but it was a lot of money and it's definitely not worth it. I did telephone customer services but as is normal these days they weren't really interested.
The cheese is really nicely wrapped and do hope its of good quality, however... I don't think you can advertise your hampers as being a 'hamper' when its just a load of cheese in a cardboard box with delivery details and tape plastered all over it. Not really sure what i've paid for... Could have at least had an internal cardboard box to wrap over? Don't bother buying a hamper just buy the cheeses individually. Can't see what the difference would be other than it being cheaper and not getting conned?
Poor quality cheese and reluctant customer service have finally convinced me to look for an alternative supplier. I've used FCco for many years, but noticed the quality of the cheese has deteriorated. There is something wrong with stock rotation or the way in which the cheese is being stored as I have had a couple of instances where the chesse is past its prime and frankly unpleasant. When emailing Customer Services to highlight the problem, I've had to chase a response and they have failed to own the problem. (It appears the person dealing with customer service just passes emails from customer to other departments and doesn't deal with the issue themself). A refund was given, but only when demanded and as for an apology, it may have well been read from a pre-prepared script. This used to be a great company but sadly standards and service have slipped and I'mm off to find another supplier.
I cannot praise this fantastic little company enough! The order process was easy with a great selection of cheeses on offer together with a wide range of accompaniments and a great site to navigate around! I went on to buy the Ceramic Baker & Tunworth and ended up ordering lots more including the Date Night Cheese Selection... it all arrived safely the next day, packaged very well and none of it to disappoint! The ceramic baker is gorgeous and the baked Tunworth was extremely tasty! We have now sampled all the cheeses, biscuits and chutneys, including the figs and all are extremely delicious. We will definitely be buying from The Fine Cheese Company again, and very soon I am sure! Thank you!
I live in France and it's sometimes difficult ordering things for family birthdays. Despite the internet signal playing up and my order disappearing, the wonderful Katie answered my e mail very quickly and my order was sorted out on the phone in minutes. She was helpful and good humoured. Excellent customer service!
Bought an expensive tin of crackers for a Christmas present online. No mention whatever of nut allergy information. Recipient opened the package to find 'not suitable for nut allergy sufferers' and will not touch them. Money down the drain and Natasha's law being ignored. Marvellous
Ordered as a Christmas present - recipient was pleased to receive, however it was delivered 3 days earlier than the date I had specified and despite paying extra for it to be gift wrapped this didn’t happen which was disappointing. So far no response from customer services.

The blue cheese that I ordered is perfectly ripe and unwaveringly holds its flavour. My order was fulfilled on Thursday and promptly arrived on Friday morning. It arrived neatly packaged inside a well-fitting, cooled cardboard box.
I ordered some cheeses, picked the delivery date and some tasty cheeses turned up on time. I didn't have any need to contact customer support so can't comment on how good or bad that is; but I am happy with my cheese.
