There was a really helpful female assistant whose helpfulness helped eased my decision by allowing me access to the changing room. This contrasted with the male assistant who brought me the boots I requested but seemed more interested in chatting than helping.
We took our scouts from 3rd heald scouts for them to learn about equipment , clothing and footwear for camps and expeditions as we have a few new scouts it was very helpful and Sammie was really excellent in her explanation of all areas of her talk, not only did they listen she give a challenge to them re packing and u packing a sleeping bag this interaction was very good thank you Go Out Doors stockport
Again a really helpful team at Go outdoors! They helped me with a product that was not quite what I thought it was and helped me choose an item that suited my needs better which I really appreciated. Courtney and Bradley were very helpful and friendly. Every time I am in this store the staff are great and really take their time with you. Excellent customer service. Lovely to see in these days of online purchasing taking over. I really appreciate being able to go into a shop and talking to people in person when you need help. Why is it the to use my Blue light card There is loads of small print, this time I wasn't able to. Yet a student can use there discount at any time.
Went in to purchase a regulator for a gas canister and was assisted well. Wasn’t a holder of a member card but that was sorted at ease and Viv on the front till was very friendly, served with a smile on her face and made the experience easy and brilliant.
Waited to long at the till.becauuse only one till open.
Friendly and helpful staff throughout the store. Such a range of things and nice displays, especially liked the tent field showcasing a huge range of tents. Competitive prices and so much better than buying online.
Great new shop in Metro Centre Gateshead with plenty of space to get around all the displays and I bought a new pair of trousers. Unfortunately the security tag wasn’t removed and I didn’t notice until I had arrived home. The alarm went off when I took the trousers back but it hadn’t gone off when I purchased them! Bizarre

Was served by Helen today and it was so easy without any issues. I had a return to make and a new purchase, also a camping gas refill and renewal of membership, all with my Blue Light Card discount applied! She was so pleasant on on-the-ball, dealt with everything really quickly and was so easy to deal with. We are from the sailing club nearby and have shopped at Go Outdoors since it opened. I can honestly say it has never been such a pleasure. Helen was very kind, attentive and no problem was a problem. Fantastic service!
We presented Caitlin with a complicated transaction which included cancellation and refund of an order from another store, return of an item purchased from another store and cancelling a click and collect order. We finished off with a purchase of two backpacks and she was still there with a smile to serve us. Great service.
Francis was really helpful, advising me about which trainers I would find in my size, which would be hard wearing. And keen to go and bring as many pairs as I wanted to try. I left happy

We came in to buy some bits for our new camper van. Wanted a portable toilet, had a look at a few, and found the incomparable Henry on his way to another part of the store. He stopped to help and discussed the options with us and helped us make a good decision without pressure selling and he even helped us by suggesting we obtain a flyer for a discount in a recent sale on particular items. He’s a good lad and will go far. Overall (and not even kidding) an excellent experience and certainly would go back and recommend to others.

Went there today looking to buy some walking shoes. Was dealt with by Andrew. He was extremely helpful, full of useful knowledge, wasn't pushy and very professional in his approach. As a result I purchased a lovely pair of Merrell shoes.
