Quality is always at the highest - fabric is great and the construction of the blouses is perfect for me. The order was delivered almost a week ahead of when you said it would be delivered. I was so overjoyed and impressed.
I was looking for a suit for my wedding and went to the Leeds store. Started off great, spent ages with a friendly, knowledgeable guy choosing and fitting the perfect wedding suit. "We just need to get the right jacket, we'll call you back in a few days". I felt great, wedding suit sorted. A couple of weeks later, I chased them. They had no record of ever seeing me. No idea what I was talking about. Fortunately, they had written the details on the back of a receipt so I could send them that to jog their memory. "We'll call you back" A week later I chased a final time. A bunch of excuses about "Head office etc etc" before suggesting that maybe I look elsewhere! Good advice! I had cancelled all other appointments with tailors thinking I had found the one! Now I'm back at the beginning after wasting a lot of time with this store. They seem like nice guys and the stuff they sell looks good but the lack of reliability and professionalism is astonishing. If you can walk in, find what you want and pay -- you'll probably be fine. If they say "We'll call you back", go elsewhere.
The quality and tailor are amazing for this price range. The only downside is they have a small and not diverse enough collection for women. However I understand that this type of brand traditionally focus on making men formal wear so I wouldn’t rate them down for this.

Although the shirts are well fitted, they have a very strange policy of not being able to actually try on the shirt that you want to buy, which I found very odd, they have sample sizes for you to try but the weight and style of the shirts are different (those that have been tried multiple times) which obviously changes the fit etc, we were interested in a fairly heavily patterned shirt and wanted to see of it complimented the trousers we chose but we're unable to try. Just a bit of strange policy. Staff were friendly enough and after some negotiation was able to try the shirt which I purchased and am very happy with.
Popped in last week for a shirt and received simply outstanding service. Barbie was helpful, friendly and expert. Her assistance made the visit a genuine pleasure and her advice was fantastic. Highly recommended and will be coming here first for all my shirts in the future

Ich muss gestehen, ich wundere mich über die schlechten Bewertungen. Ich habe diverse Hemden von H&C, die ich alle hervorragend finde, insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund, dass man sie fast immer irgendwie im Sale bekommt. Ja, man sollte einmal im Shop die richtige Größe und den korrekten Schnitt anprobieren, aber dann sind sie top. Komme gerade aus London, im Flagship-Store (Jermyn Street) habe ich nun auch die Anzüge probiert und sehr genau in Augenschein genommen. Im Sale für 179 GPB, das ist wirklich im Vergleich ein Schnäppchen. Ich werde H&C weiterhin treu bleiben, für mich gibt es in diesem Preissegment keine Alternative.

Jacket was bought in Jermyn Street store (flagship). Both the sales assistant & myself were in agreement that the jacket was probably too small but that as there was not a bigger size that I was to buy it and check with my partner and if not satisfied, to return it. Jacket was taken home and I simply removed the tag to properly try it on. We then agreed that it was too small. Said jacket was then put back in the suit cover and returned to the shop a week later. When I asked for a refund, the jacket was whisked away to the store manager (apparently) and after 10 minutes I was told that I could neither get a refund or exchange due to the tag being removed and the fact that it had been worn (which was not the case). I did ask if there was anything that could be done and I was told to go through customer service. I did check the receipt and removing the tag does NOT constitute a reason to dismiss or refuse an item being returned. As for wearing the jacket - I categorically deny this happened. I contacted customer service and after multiple emails was informed: "Whilst I can understand that you have never worn it, myself and the team cannot interfere further with the store manager decision. I acknowledge that this may not have been the resolution you were seeking, however the decision has been made by the store and is final." So a pointless exercise where the customer is not believed and I'm left with a brand new, unworn jacket that I cannot even exchange. I would also question the point of "customer service" if this is the ultimate "resolution". Avoid and go to one of the more friendlier, customer oriented retailers in close proximity

Careful with these shirts, ordered three - all three had different sleeve lengths. Ordered 34 length. One was 33.75, other was 33 and third was 32.75. The amount of time to receive them in the US too a while, fine I guess but the return process is an absolute nightmare. From photos, shipping it back, saving confirmation, waiting on processing to make it back to thr UK - all for a documented factory error with photos. I now have dress shirts which will be donated because of their processes and production shortcomings. Too bad, expected so much more. Fit is great on the body, too bad everything else is unacceptable. I guess I could cut the sleeves off and go to a rock show...
