Ignorant customer service.

I’ve used Jaques of London time after time for gifts for various children and always been happy. This time I have received a faulty item and for the first ever have had to experience their customer service which is shocking. I filled out the online form which when I tried to submit a notice came up saying unable to proceed please this number, I called the number and the lines are closed, I assumed it was because they have short opening hours. Turns out the phone lines are always closed. I’ve googled various numbers and non of them work. I finally found an email address I could use so I emailed, i got a response next day at 10:50pm which I didn’t see immediately so it took me a few days to reply, which was 11th may. It is now the 17th and no one has responded at all. I suspect I’ll just have to cut my losses since I don’t think I’ll get any response. This alone has put me off ordering from them again.

Missing delivery item…..

Missing delivery item….. I’m absolutely saddened by my customer services or should I say lack of, experience with this company. In good faith I’ve purchased many gifts over the last few weeks, however, 1 Yoyo is still amiss. Despite emailing several times and calling their listed number which is unattainable, I’m at a loss as to what more can be done at my end in regards to sourcing a resolution.

Phone Line Not Worked For Weeks

I have been trying to contact the Jaques of London by phone. They refuse to answer the phone. When I sent an online enquiry they said that their phone line is out of action. 8 weeks later the same problem and it still has still not be sorted out. Their website says they cannot accept phone calls and they have closed their phone lines down. I had enquired on behalf of my friend who desperately wants to order something for their grand child but now cannot because Jaques do not have a phone number and she cannot use a computer. I cannot order for her as I am unable to pay for things on line. What is going on? I personally reluctant to deal with companies that you cannot speak to on the phone.

I have been a good customer of Jaques for quite a while and been delighted with my purchases.However I ordered Lets Pretend Bakery and when it arrived it said Lets Pretend Sushi both on the invoice and on the brown packaging and on a white label too.I must have tried 20 times to telephone but no one ever answers the phone.I emailed and after a very very long time I was told the labelling was wrong and it was indeed Bakery as I had ordered and not Sushi.I still have the packaging for my niece's birthday and although she won't notice her parents will see Lets Pretend Sushi.I asked for a new one and was told they had none left.Odd as I only purchased this a short while ago.Jaques make some nice toys BUT after this dreadful experience and reading of other's reviews I will no longer be a customer.The way my problem was dealt with was farcical, they asked for my order number 4 times.

Beautiful products

Received a beautiful box with a selection of their high quality toys. Every toy box had a hand written note with the name of the staff that packed it which is a small touch that makes it feel very personal. Highly recommend any of their products and a fantastic company to support.

This company has no costumer service

This company has no costumer service. The phone nr doesn’t work and no one replies to emails. If you want to return then you won’t be able to as they are not contactable. Don’t buy from them!

As usual the gift came beautifully packaged and the toy was loved by my grandson. It’s an ideal toy to teach toddlers how to count and recognise numbers I would definitely recommend and I will be ordering again from Jaques of London in-fact I have ordered numerous items over the years.

I bought the Kids Spelling Game for my 3 year old granddaughter and she loved it. She is just starting to recognise letters and words, and is keen to learn. The game is very colourful, well made and packaged. My order came promptly and Jacques notified me about delivery at each stage. I have bought from Jacques before and will certainly do so again. I love their products.
