Great clothes but courier not so good

They do some great clothes, especially, bigger sizes, but alas they use Evri - the worst courier in the world! Evri failed to collect returns and lied about it. You can't contact Evri direct. Called J D Williams got and their remote call centre. They were really nice but even they can not contact Evri direct. More of an annoyance than a major issue but my experience of Evri has been overwhelmingly negative.

Do not open an account! The accounts are a complete con and the service charges added are nearly as much as your monthly payments meaning you're never actually paying anything off your account and basically just giving JDW money monthy, forever.

Was delivered some items of clothing. Tags removed and looking as if they had been worn. Sent back to J D Williams to have them resent back to me saying they had been worn. Have spent the last 24+ hours trying to get this resolved being fobbed off by will contact you back in 24 hours have they done NO. Contacted again told will be escalated will contact you later we will see

Terrible Terrible customer service and I've seen I'm not the only who has been in the situation ordered 4 items everything came apart from 1 Contact them about my item only for them to tell me "its been delivered" I asked for tracking "oh we can't see tracking on the system buy customer service will get back to you on what happened with your item in 3 days"...... 3 days layer..... "I am sorry to hear that you have not received the Xbox controller, please be assured this is not in keeping with our usual standards.Ā  Ā  I'm pleased to confirm that your account has been credited with the following: Xbox Wireless Controller Carbon Black V2 - Ā£54.99 Ā  This will be confirmed online on your account within 24 hours. Ā  If you would like us to reorder this item for you, please let me know. Alternatively, please reorder the item online in the usual way". Erm what.... where is my item you said it was delivered where is the tracking details so unorganised and miss cholesterol lied because from the reviews it seem this is their standards deleting account as soon as I pay them back stick to very people you will be better off

Dreadful service

Dreadful service. Opened the account (with a much better credit score than other people I know using the website) and granted a balance of Ā£250 so placed an order for next day delivery. Waited in for the order only for it to be cancelled but zero correspondence from the company to say that they had cancelled the order. Contacted them to find out what was going on only to get copy and pasted answers from live chat. Very quickly closed the account down. Terrible terrible website.

Poor Customer Service & Dishonest over Price Change

I tried to open new account and order watch for my husband Birthday. He gave me link with details & price Ā£289! Had problems with account and emailed day I tried to place order. Did not receive correct response so phoned customer services in South Africa!! Account sorted went to place order in basket but price changed overnight to Ā£369. Really upset phoned customer services again in South Africa. Would not help and Manager could not speak to me as busy!! Agent told me nothing I could do unless I had screen shot. I have link but when you click on it the price is updated to new price. Nobody helped me yesterday when I had problems and they will not honour price! Do not recommend this company as dishonest. Their records must confirm it was Ā£289 yesterday when I tried to place my order!

HIGH APR and LOW standard of service.

After placing an order and paying it off fully and on time my account was placed in review and unable to utilize any available credit, but as postage and APR were high anyway I have probably dodged a bullet and closed the account down, poor service and not the greatest choice of goods out there, look around for better deals like I have now found before signing up for an acocunt.

JDWilliams sends scam letters to their customers

JDWilliams sent me a letter telling me that as 'a token of appreciation' they sent me 8 day cultural tour of Cyprus for Ā£200 per person - return flights, accommodation with breakfast, tours and airport fees all included when using the provided voucher. However, when I called the number on the letter : 08000211691 and quoted the voucher code, I was told by a lady called Katie, that it would actually cost around Ā£700 per person based on two people in the room. Our conversation was apparently recorded so it can be easly checked that the letter promissing all the above for Ā£200 per person was actually a scam designed to get people to call the travel company which had never planned on selling such tours for Ā£200 and was just hoping that if someone called them then they would buy the tour for the three times more than promised. I am actually appalled that JDWilliams is taking part in such a scam and I will never use the company again.

Not to pleased with my purchase I ordered to box of chocolates total Ā£32 by the picture they looked like a bigger box the same box of chocolates are Ā£5 in most supermarkets with it being Chocolate I am reluctant to send them back.

Disgusting lack of customer service oor help

I paid Ā£200 off my balance is JUNE 2023 then another Ā£300 the same day from an alternative bank account. Despite numerous phone calls to this company (which btw NEVER get written down despite reassurance) they cannott find my 2nd payment as I hadnā€™t realised no reference was included from my side. My bank have tried 3-4 times to contact their bank to help me but they get no response. I desperately want to dissasociate myself from this awful company but until they rectify this anomallie, I canā€™t. I would NEVER recommend them and their customer service is useless.

If problems occur, call and donā€™t use webchat

I ordered 2 items (a king size duvet cover and a large cushion). The duvet cover arrived but the cushion didnā€™t. I contacted the company via their webchat twice. The first employee told me I could not get the cushion resent because Iā€™d need to pay for it again and I need to contact them the next day to get a refund because thereā€™s nothing she can do. The next employee (who I contacted via webchat the next day) accused me of lying about not having received the cushion and told me that the picture that Evri sent (of a thin, small rectangular package containing the duvet cover) clearly has the cuddle cushion in (which is around 1m wide and 80cm thick). After still not getting a refund, I called customer service the next day and spoke to a very polite lady who quickly dealt with the missing order and returned the cost of next day p&p without me having to request it. Because of the webchat employees I wonā€™t use this business again because I was in contact with more unprofessional employees than good ones and there are other stores I can go to with better customer service.

I purchased an air fryer from JDā€¦

I purchased an air fryer from JD Williams on their credit options and as far as I was aware of it was interest free within a certain amount of time. The cost was Ā£150 and on the first payment I paid Ā£50 off it, which was far more than the minimum payment. I have just received my latest statement and I have been charged Ā£6.95 interest! I contacted them and was told that this item was not on interest free, much to my surprise. I was given the same old speech, that they will note it, but we all know that couldn't give a crap. I have now paid it up in full and once cleared, I will contact them again and close the account and never use them again and warn others to be careful when ordering goods from them on credit!

No issues at all

Ordered a Nintendo switch, was offered Ā£150 credit limit so paid the extra Ā£56 myself. High APR so will make sure I pay it off quickly. Said delivery in 3-5 days. Ordered Sunday and arrived on Tuesday, so really it came the next day as it was late Sunday night. Had to contact them to get the tracking details and they were helpful and polite. I donā€™t dispute all the bad reviews but can say that the experience Iā€™ve had so far has been great šŸ˜Š
