Top quality premium menswear!
Polo shirt The two polo shirts are soft against my skin and generous in the length of the shirt so they tuck in to the waist band of my trousers and shorts. Delivery was quick. The shirts are expensive but the combination of quality and design more than compensates for the added cost.
John Smedley is a great and storied knitwear firm. I have bought several items from them….and returned some. Why 4 stars? While I do feel that John Smedley do listen to customers very well and provide Stirling customer support, the two letdowns IMO is sizing and muted and Classic colours. I’d like to see more cream and ivory or off white as well as very dark browns and greens in the colour scheme. Again, I feel that they are making good strides in providing larger sizes and of course including their Easy Fit Offerings helps. I’m a large and very tall person 6’1” and a 50+” chest and broad shouldered and I would like to see an extra size, maybe even two sizes up in their polos & knitwear ranges, particularly in all the Classic Icons. That would,I feel, close a sizing loophole and definitely heve me edit this review up to 5 stars….definitely. Please listen in to customers just a little more!

Recently purchased 2 more polo shirts from this truly wonderful brand, as usual, the quality of materials is superb, as is the cut, maybe I’m just lucky, but I always feel as though Smedley’s garments have been personally tailored for me. The range of colours and their depth of pigmentation is beyond comparison. Love them. A great bonus is that they’re an English brand, making beautiful garments in England. Never disappointed.
