I purchased a product, from Germany. And before I did that I checked the delivery/return policy (in german) on l'exception online shop. On their page it is clearly stated that return is free of charge (kostenlos in german). After I registered the return, I have been informed while following the steps that I need to return it at my own costs as outside of Metropolitan France. On the printed return bill, it is stated, I can send the invoice for shipping and the shop will credit the paid amount for shipping to my customer account. And that return shipping costs cannot be refunded! Well this does not sound like transparent and free of charge (kostenlos). I would not recommend the shop.

Good experience using their website to place my order. They had the lowest price I've seen for the product I wanted. I had chosen delivery to a pick-up place very close to where I live in Paris. Unfortunately L'Exception shipped the package as a home delivery to my address instead of the pick-up point. La Poste tried deliverying the package while I wasn't home and I ended up walking 3 kilometers to the post office where the package was then dropped off. Happy with what I bought there, but could have gone smoother.
1) Sent the WRONG items Their inventory system is faulty so that another pair of shoes came! 2) Sell FAULTY/ RUINED items I purchased another pair of shoes and they were obvious returns that were scuffed up! They have no quality control! 3) WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Manon Bonnet from CS promised to refund my full shipping fees, which is reasonable as they sent me wrong and faulty items, but after I mailed the shoes back, CS have ignored all emails for months!!!! I had to privately reach out to Regis Pennel the founder of Lexception, even then it took 6 MONTHS to resolve it!!! Lexception Customer Service seriously need better training, especially Manon Bonnet, who decided to ignore customer emails. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS BE VERY CAREFUL.
Deuxième livraison et RAS... C'était rapide et soigné ou fast and furious ! L'exception porte toujours aussi bien son nom : on y retrouve de très belles choses sortant du lot. Vous voulez vous faire plaisir sans vous prendre la tête, c'est là qu'il faut vous rendre. Merci !

Plusieurs fois que je commande depuis leur site, livraison très rapide et impeccable. Cette fois-ci un manteau qui a été livré protégé dans une housse siglé L'Exception en tissu recyclé, on note vraiment le soucis du détail pour rendre chaque réception de commande parfaite.

J’ai commandé un article il y a quatre jours et j’en suis ravie. Je tiens à signaler que j’avais fait une erreur sur mon adresse postale. J’ai donc contacté le service support qui a été super réactif et efficace. J’ai bien reçu le colis dans le délai prévu.
