Fast and uncomplicated
Lily Lolo were very helpful in assisting me to buy my 14 year old daughter her first starter make up set. They advised how best to include it into her routine, taking into account her young skin and how best to remove it afterwards. I was only asking for help with shade matching, so this thoughtful approach to our request was great to see. I’ve purchased only clean beauty products and makeup for years, and so it was an important decision about who to introduce my daughter to as a starting point. It’s a conscious decision to try and educate how she chooses and purchases beauty from now on. Unfortunately there are too many products aimed at teens with skin disrupting and harsh ingredients. Lily Lolo can give her that little extra confidence boost, without ruining her skin in the process.
I was unsure which brow powder to buy so sent a query with my hair colouring, etc and received a very quick response giving advice. I ordered accordingly and am absolutely delighted as it's perfect. I have been using their mineral cosmetics for a number of years and the quality is excellent.

Someone replied fairly promptly saying that you are always looking to expand your products in general but nothing concrete about the product I need (so obviously I will now be buying that from somewhere else which leaves an opening for another company to offer me alternatives to the many products I usually buy from you!) I was, however, perplexed at receiving a second email asking me to respond to your answer as I can't see that any response was called for.

I am really disappointed with Lily Lolo. I can also see from their responses to other disappointed customers, that their attitude to their customers has plummeted. What happened? I've been a loyal customer for several years and was always happy with their customer service. However on this last occasion, it has made me feel that I will not buy from them again. I fell for their Black Friday promotion - buy a Christmas gift set and get a free mini brush set. In fact I have done this on previous promotions, so I am not new to this one. On the same day I received an email from them telling me that I needed to use my clean credits loyalty points that day, otherwise I would lose them. I was sent a code to redeem my coupon. This was not subject to any terms and conditions (it is my earned loyalty coupon after all). It was not a promotion either. So I placed the order for a gift set and other items to qualify for the brush set - I intended to make the gift set and the brush set part of a Christmas gift. I tried to use the code for the brush set before I applied my coupon. The code for the brush set would not work. I tried several times. I gave up trying to apply it thinking I would just email Lily Lolo (like I have done before on a few occasions when their codes did not work - it was always rectified by them). I then used my earned loyalty coupon and paid. Well, I emailed several times, some of my emails were ignored. I had to send a chaser through the website, whereupon I got an email from Ellie basically telling me tough luck and referring to their terms and conditions. I draft terms and conditions for a living so I know that she was wrong. I explained again. No response, so had to email again and also submit via their website. Again the same agent replied with basically tough luck. I have now run out of time to sort out the gift set for the Christmas gift I was intending to give. I am now returning the entire order and will never buy anything from them again. I will never recommend them to anyone else again either. Shame that one customer services agent can bring them crashing down in my eyes. Edit after their response: They still resolutely refuse to accept they sent misleading emails and it is not as they represent in their response. I have explained why but they continue to refuse to take any responsibility for their behaviour. They have since offered the brush set but since it is now too late to add it as part of the original gift I purchased for Christmas, I am returning the gift set and stand by my review not to do business with them any more.
I’ve been a long term customer of this site for many years, but following my experience of buying multiple items (that I usually buy anyway) during the Black Friday sale and the site recalculating my prices into dollars I wasn’t entitled to the free gift. I’m not that bothered about receiving a free brow pencil (it’s not that great anyway) but I was very disappointed with their customer service. Genuinely disgusted. Needless to say I’m looking for an alternative mineral foundation. I’ll look into Revolution as their products are SO much better in other ateas and, as an aside, so much cheaper. Bye bye Lily👎🏻
I have placed many orders with Lily lolo this year all were received quickly no problems and the make-up itself is great! If you are a fan of mineral make-up and are finding it more difficult to find give this brand a try.
After having an unhelpful response when making a query about my order, as they could not make the effort into chasing it up, I won't order from them ever again.
I have placed several orders and receive my shipment in a timely manner. I was looking for powder foundation. Normally, it is difficult for me to match my skin color with a color sample online or with a picture of a model but Lily Lolo offers sample powder foundation that you can purchase for a small price that you can try at home. If the color doesn't match my skin tone, I at least didn't purchase a full size and then have to figure out if I can return/exchange the product. I have not yet found another website that I can purchase samples of foundation (powder or creme). I really appreciate this!!! I am hoping they get more variety of colors for eyeliners and lipliners. You can also earn points! I am happy with this company.
My favourite makeup company. Natural products, an easy-to-use ordering system and items delivered on time with no issues. I've never had an issue or had to return an item in the six years I've been ordering from them. Their rewards scheme is great too.
I've ordered a few products from Lily Lolo now (blusher duo, concealer, highlighter, eyeliner) and have been really happy with all of them. The quality is really good and the pictures online do a good job of accurately showing the shades you're choosing. I wear SPF50 on my face everyday and sometimes struggle finding make up which sits nicely over this and stays put all day, so I'm pleased to find the LilyLolo products are lasting all day (even at work when my face is usually a shiny mess by the end!). The blusher duo and highlighter especially are two of my absolute faves now and I'll be switching my foundation across from BM when this next runs out. I did find the eyeliner didn't have amazing staying power but in fairness, I have this problem with almost every eyeliner I use as I have quite hooded eyelids, so that's more of a 'me problem'.
I'm very impressed with this company. I ordered for the first time a week ago, I received the products unbelievably quickly, and the products themselves are excellent quality with wonderful non-toxic ingredients that don't irritate my extremely sensitive skin. The products are better quality than makeup I've purchased for 2x the price. I will be placing another order very soon.
