First time ordering from Master of Malt, easy to use. Ordered Thursday said delivery was Tuesday at the latest, arrived early on Saturday. Excellent service and communication. Will be using again.
Placed my order at 19.04pm and received at 13.45pm the very next day, had only paid for standard delivery so was expecting in 3 or 4 days, above excellent service and received a free 3ml sample of American rye!, will always be returning, thanks.
Second time I’ve bought from this site. First time, the delivery went astray. I contacted them and immediately they sent a replacement. Great customer service. My second order arrived early, which is great. Both orders were robustly packaged, so no risk of breakages. Ordering on the site is simple and the selection is excellent.
I ordered a bottle of rum for my boyfriend’s birthday and let me tell you !! Everything was just amazing , they gave me a card for my message and no breakages as the cover they have the liquor in is top tier!!! Absolutely love this website will be ordering again … now we wait and see what my boyfriend thinks of the rum ;)!!
Fairly competitive prices, not always the cheapest, but I would rather purchase from here and support an independent retailer that specialises in drinks. Very good delivery and the packaging they use is very secure. My only minor complaint is the delivery cost, added on to an already expensive order, I rarely spend £100+ to get free delivery, though sometimes I'm out by about £3 which is annoying, but like said the packaging is very good and delivery quick so I shouldn't complain.
Evri had my Master of Malt delivery delayed for well over a week and could not give a me reason as to why. In response to this, I contacted the Master of Malt customer service email. I got a response from Abbie who was fantastic. She immediately sent a new box via DPD the next working day and has since dealt with Evri on my behalf. Abbie was very apologetic and wanted to resolve my issue as soon as possible, i have never seen such quick customer service (other companies should take note on how Master of Malt do customer service!! or i would suggest other companies hire an entire customer service team full of Abbie's!!). I will certainly be returning to order now that i have had such a positive experience!
Excellent customers service and amazing next day delivery
My original purchase of gunpowder proof Pussers rum, the cork broke off in the bottle on opening… I put that down to experience. My second purchase was the premium Pussers 151, which on opening the cork broke off in the bottle. MOfM were quick to respond to send out another bottle as long as I sent back the faulty one for investigation, fair enough. The replacement, guess what ? The cork broke off in the bottle. MOfM offered a full refund if I returned the bottle for investigation which I declined. I don’t want to continually send back faulty product to you, I simply want to buy with confidence, to be fair, I gave you three chances to get it right. I won’t be using Masters of Malt again, they clearly are not Masters of Much. You deserve this dire review.
Good price, fast delivery, well packaged
The April Fool whisky i bought (for a chance to own part of an island of whisky_the joke) from a undislosed source I received from MoM which I spent £30 on for a chance to have a whisky I'd not tasted before, it was extremely disappointing; The whisky I received from MoM tastes young, no body, no flavour, I would have hoped for much better from MoM. I can buy better much cheaper. I feel ripped off with this product, it's April Fools Day not April Steal Day. I love whisky, this was not whisky, no wonder the distillery is a secret
Got the best value for my whiskey along with free Norlan glass, but I also received an Easter egg and 16% Alchohol cream to go with that, delivery was decent 2, I'm pretty sure that checks most of the boxes when searching for a good whiskey online shop, thanks Master of Malt !!!
Initially responded to a Facebook advert for a Fathers' Day gift set of malt whiskies. My father absolutely loved them and it has now become a family tradition and he gets one every year. This prompted me to explore their website and it is an absolute treasure trove, with unique spirits at excellent prices and I purchase from them quite regularly. My husband and daughters were extremely happy with their Mozart Cream Liquers (in lieu of Easter eggs!) Orders are always correct, well packaged and delivered quickly. I can highly recommend using this Company
I work in the whisky industry selling casks and recommend Master of Malt to my clients and friends. Honestly, they truly go above and beyond. They will price match anything, their customer service is second to none and super responsive (even at unsociable hours). I wish that all UK companies had service levels this good. If you are buying whisky or any spirits in anyway, seriously I would always use these guys first. Phenomenal company.
The selection is amazing and the pricing is reasonable given that I can usually find the same booze elsewhere but at much higher price points. As an anecdotal piece of evidence: I had a recent delivery from MoM stolen by DPD (on the DPD tracking app the van sat in a nearby layby for an hour, presumably going through all the parcels, and then my parcel full of expensive booze was miraculously marked as delivered - I was sat at home waiting for it, it was not delivered). I emailed customer care at Master of Malt. Within 30 minutes Abbie at Master of Malt had apologised (totally not your fault guys; DPD need to get better at not hiring dirty thieves) and sent me out another shipment on no notice on a next day delivery. Great customer care that's very rare in this day and age and I'll 100% buy from them again because of it. Just to add: DPD turned up with my (opened) package 4 days later after getting a complaint from MoM
Good customer service involves a company completing what it promised and what was paid for with a minimum of fuss, sometimes even exceeding those expectations. Once Master of Malt have your money they take no responsibility for the order. When something goes wrong it’s always someone else’s fault - courier, automated systems, war in Ukraine? Who knows! When you ask for a refund because the special delivery you paid for didn’t happen, they ignore you. There are better, more competent and reliable companies out there. These are hopeless. And now a reply feigning ignorance. I’ve had two emails from you today Abbie! And several yesterday from you and your colleagues all coming up with excuses. Either you’re getting so many complaints that you can’t keep track, or your memory is failing you. Unfortunately I didn’t expect any proper customer service and your reply demonstrates how out of touch you are.

If I could give the customer service team a 10 I definitely would. I ordered a sample pack of rums for my husband’s 70th birthday. One member of customer service emailed to apologise that my order had not arrived. I was told that if I still wanted the order they would dispatch another order with DPD to arrive the following day. This order arrived on time. Also at the same time our postman delivered the original order. I know busses come to mind. I emailed customer service to let them know that both orders had arrived. I was asked if I wanted to keep both orders or return one. I thought I would keep both orders thought my husband would appreciate that! I was told that I could keep the second order free of charge as a gift from them. I was so amazed by their gesture. Customer service do get at times a bad feedback but not this company. Each person I had a correspondence with was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The icing on the cake will be when my husband tastes the rum samples and really enjoys them. I will be telling him the back story to his gift. Hopefully he will either order more samples or a full bottle of one of his favourite.
Tried multiple times to pay - several £0 charges on my account. Give some feedback and get a glib response that you could have phoned us - like I didn’t know! Please sort your customer service out. Not sure when my purchase will arrive. Very disappointing
