I’m generally happy with this box as the meals have all been very tasty and the ingredients have been very good quality. I was particularly pleased with the variety of rice on offer and the quality of the meat and fish. I have taken one star off because the broccoli was not very fresh on the forth day which I found a bit disappointing.
The meat was good quality and thanks for that. I was very disappointed with the vegetables though, I had some expired spring onions twice when I’ve only order twice, garlic as well. Expect from the meat the rest is poor compared to the price.
So nice to look forward to cooking evening meals again. Not the same drab food week in week out. The choices are enough to cover our likes and ingredients are so fresh. Love the recycling element and that there is no waste. Roll on dinner
Food often poorly packaged at source. Auto generated order by MC not suitable for diet and was for number of meals that I’ve never previously purchased. Opportunistic and unacceptable from MC and will not return to this outfit again - there’s plenty of competition out there.
maybe it's just me but portions are not big enough, they don't send recipe cards which means i have to contend with the app while cooking and it's not clear to me where i see which bag belongs to which recipe. also some recipes are good some are not so good...
Every thing! I have not used mindful chef for a couple of years. I tried to order but credit card details were out of date. There was no obvious way to change my details.
Quality food ordered and delivered fuss free. The recipes were easy to follow and all made super nice dishes. We doubled up on one meal and cooked it for some people around for dinner. Everyone were knocked out by the flavours and quantity.
The meals are super tasty and I have been pleasantly surprised with how.big the portions are. I'm certainly not feeling hungry.
The recipes had some flaws this week, which I have informed you of.

Many recipes are tasty, but I stopped ordering them after the £10 Vitality reward minimum order value has changed to £45. Most dishes for two people are priced around £14, so if I order 3, I will be about £3 short of getting a discount. In some weeks, I can find three dishes for £15, so I would pay £40 (15+15+15+£5 delivery = £10 discount), effectively receiving a 25% discount, but then I can't really choose what I want. Most weeks, I would have to order four recipes, which is too much (it gets overpriced and requires a lot of cooking for a week), resulting in around a 17% discount. The preparation time is very optimistic, and it usually takes me 10-30 minutes more as there is always something undercooked (especially rice or quinoa). Overall, it used to be a nice experience, but the price has now reached the point at which I am more willing to order ingredients from Tesco.
The portions are extremely small so I feel like I am being tricked into buying a larger box, which will cost more. I have used three other food box brands before so I can compare. I also found out that Mindful Chef is owned by Nestle, not very "mindful" to me. I will go back to my locally sourced and packed food box.
I love your recipes, the food is so tasty and easy to make! The quality of ingredients is excellent, with a wide variety of choice!
Recipes great, first order had vegetables that were going off and unusable. third order I was over charged and couldn't get it rectified via customer services.

Great food and instructions are easy enough to follow. It would be useful to be able to easily match up food (say with a labelled title) to recipes rather than needing to match up based on checking the ingredient bags for those of us with short memories. When not choosing food and a curated choice is made it would be good for that curated choice to exclude certain foods (for example spice rating above 2). My wife cannot handle hot food.
Good quality ingredients and decent portion sizes vs other meal boxes on the market. Nice not to have a lot of carb heavy meals too, overall we feel like we are eating more healthier than before we started
We stopped our deliveries in January but then a box appeared on the 15th April out of the blue so I logged back into our account & made sure that the unsubscribe was in place to find that a yet another order was on its way, I tried contacting MC via email to be told I would have to pay for this delivery too. Im only working part-time at the moment & can ill afford this, in fact it's pushing me into debt, they just didn't care. So ive to find £77 for something I did not order & certainly won't be eating as it's absolute garbage. 3rd rate meat, veg thats nearly going off & items missing! I would not recommend anyone subscribing to this company as they are a company that make mistakes don't own up to them but then customer is left with the bill ,disgusting practice!
