Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service. Parcel was incorrectly delivered to a wrong address by Evri - fair enough, they’re dreadful. I did however expect better from the CS team at Missy Empire, I advised the parcel was for a holiday this week however accepted that an investigation would be concluded with the courier. I suggested reordering in the meantime since I didn’t have time to wait for the outcome however no ownership could be taken by the team to ensure I would definitely receive the second shipment. I’ve worked with instances like this myself and have always gone above and beyond to contact the courier directly for my customers to add delivery notes. Since I was apprehensive, I allowed time for the investigation to be concluded. I’ve today received update that the case is closed since I’ve received the parcel, this is not the case. Evri have not been In contact and I’ve now been palmed off by the team at Missy Empire too. First and last time I’ll be ordering. I understand courier issues happen however as a business it’s your responsibility to ensure the courier services used in contract are fit for purpose. I’m still no closer to receiving my parcel or refund.

The quality of the clothes were…

The quality of the clothes were terrible, every single item was see through!!!. I returned and had to pay for my return, which is unclear anywhere. I paid via klarna. They now are asking me to pay for my delivery and return which adds up to over £12!! I raised an enquiry and they were unhelpful and said it is what is it is basically. I won’t be ordering again.

Awful!!!

My daughter Katie received her parcel and an item was missing. Joe has been absolutely horrendous at providing customer service and seems very patronising in his responses to us. My daughter is so sad as she has paid for the top and loves the ones she did receive and we would not keep emailing if she had received the missing item. My daughter is a student and we just want what has been paid for. Such a shame as we won’t be ordering from them again and could have been big customers in the future as she and her sister are always looking for new places to purchase clothes. We keep getting sent emails to rate the customer service, which we do, but it’s getting us nowhere. We are being ignored. Katie simply wants a refund of the item she hasnt received or more preferably the top that was missing from the parcel. Katie Beehan

crochet cut out "maxi"…

Ordered the crochet cut out "maxi" dress which arrived within 2 days (with normal delivery) which is amazing! The dress is gorgeous but absolutely is not a maxi dress, comes half way up my shin! I'm 5'7 which isn't that tall really so I'd say it's more a midaxi dress. It is gorgeous so I don't want to send it back but thought I would warn any one who's over 5'2 to reconsider the maxi dress 😂

Ordered a two piece for a wedding I was attending this weekend. The trousers were lovely but the zip on the top came broken. I reached out to customer services and originally Joe came back very quickly asking for images of the fault, which I sent back straight away. It’s been a week and I have not heard anything, I just have emails coming through asking me to rate the customer service. I did not want to just return the top and then have issues on the other side and at the time I originally sent off my query it was more than enough time for me to get another one sent to me. However due to the lack of customer service, I was not able to do this and looked elsewhere for my weekend outfit. I would still like this to be resolved.

Incorrect refund - items kept and resold

I returned several unworn items that were confirmed as all received by Missy Empire company issued an incorrect refund amount. On-going communication with Joe from customer service for over one month promising to get the matter resolved and correct refund granted. No resolution despite customer service offering to resolve the issue, lots of false statements were given with zero action to follow. Can see from other review's this is a common occurrence with the company keeping consumers money following goods received back. Very frustrating experience over one month, will not be shopping again with this brand.

Ordered a dress, it arrived and was very small in fitting so I returned it (well within the returns timeframe), after 2 weeks I had not heard anything from missy empire about my refund so I filed this with PayPal. I got no response through PayPal so I reached out to Missy empire customer service directly, they told me I had to cancel the issue I raised with PayPal before they would issue me a refund (RED FLAG🚩), I repetitively asked Joe from customer services why I would ever need to do this? PayPal clearly states not to close a case until you have received a refund. I got no clear response from Joe so I had no choice but to escalate this through PayPal, to which they also NEVER responded and I only ended up getting my refund today from PayPal (nothing to do with Missy empire) after 5 weeks of waiting

Only received a partial refund, ridiculous!!

I returned my full order which consisted of two items, however only received a partial refund for one of the items. I was told that only one item was returned when I know for sure I returned both. I was asked to send postage proof however I didn’t obtain this anymore. I asked them to check their cctv footage to check that their staff hadn’t incorrectly processed my refund and that both item were infact in my return, they then said that they do not have this facility which is shocking. I did not want to pay for something that I do not own and did infact return however they just kept saying that without any postage proof they couldn’t refund me. Absolutely ridiculous, I’ve now had to pay £19 for something that I don’t even have. Will never ever be buying from here again. Staff need to a better job.

I placed an order in error and cancelled 3 minutes later. I received an email saying my order had been dispatched within 5 minutes and they never received my cancellation email in time. I couldn’t have been any quicker in letting them know. Normally businesses allow 30 minute window. I replied to Joe’s email who advised me that I was too late. Who instantly replied to me. Seems they got that email quicker than my cancellation request. The returns also charge 2.99 for return through Royal Mail. Terrible Customer Service. This could have easily been resolved. First and last order!
