The items I ordered which had been bought as gifts were delivered in good time but I was SO disappointed with the way in which they had been packaged. I’d ordered the wooden book ends which were well packed and boxed, however the delicate necklace not so. The necklace I found in it’s small fabric bag, together with a piece of card and it required a considerable amount of untangling! It was then just in a small plastic bag which had been placed in the bottom of the delivery box with no padding or bubble wrap to protect it and the box containing the (heavy) bookends had been put on top of it. I have ordered items in the past from Nkuku so this was really not what I was expecting.
This is the second time that I have ordered from Nkuku. On both occasions I was kept in the loop and delivery was fast. Lovely products.

I love that they support ethnic groups and workers using traditional skills to produce eco-friendly, hand made pieces. The prices they charge are very affordable and no more expensive than some companies selling mass produced items.

The item I wanted was out of stock so I rang for some help. Friendly and knowledgeable, I couldn't have had a better experience about details on the item and what it was made from, when stock was due and an offer of help when I could order. We also talked about you showroom, my son is currently in Devon, we will be visiting. Great shopping.

Efficient delivery well packaged beautiful tablt
The coffee table we wanted kept going out of stock. Eventually we pre-ordered & pre-paid for it in the delightful shop at Harbertonford which we know well & visit often. The staff there are excellent & always very helpful. However, the customer service from then onwards was woeful! At the end of March we were notified that the table had been despatched & we would receive it within a few days. A week on we enquired as to its whereabouts & we’re told they weren’t yet available! A few days later an ad appeared from Nukuku saying the table was back in stock. We again asked when ours would come. We were told within the next two weeks. We were booked to go on holiday during this period so let them know. They came back to us saying that the delivery people had no storage facility & would have to charge us if we couldn’t take delivery when they chose to bring it. Needless to say we expressed our disgust at the company’s bad customer service. Received our table today & are delighted with it. The delivery men were excellent & completely unpacked everything for us & took away the copious packaging. Nukuku need to sort out their communication & service to those of us who spend a lot of money there.
