" EXORBITANT MARK UP " Website claims " Wildflower Pinot Grigio EXCELLENT VALUE Euro 14.25 " VIVINO evidences " Available prices for a 3.9 Romanian White are starting around Euro 5.95 " This includes the price paid to the Grower, transport, storage, distribution costs and profit. However, delivering to IRISH purchasers Duty has to be added = Euro 3.19 resulting in Euro 9.14 which is the maximum figure a customer should be charged with. The BALANCE to Euro 14.25 represents the " EXORBITANT MARK UP ".

Delighted with O'Brien's communication, service and products. Spent days trying to purchase and deliver champagne to a friend in ROI from UK but to no avail. Then I came across O'Brien's online. There was a small issue with my delivery being damaged and O'Brien's dealt with this immediately even though it was between Christmas and New Year. Recipient received her gift today and both she and I are delighted. Highly recommend and will definitely order again. Special thanks to Hannah.

Saw a ad for a sale on whiskey. Placed an order on Thursday evening and it arrived on Monday morning. Great price and quick delivery. The package was the most well packaged parcel I have ever received. Very impressed.

Unfortunately staff allow customers to shop without being masked so not a safe place to shop.
Over the last 3 months i have spent a lot of wine on what should have been fantastic wines........but they all tasted awful .....you have a problem with the way you store your wine. I give up. I will have to use the last 30 bottles as cooking wine - that is all they are suitable for.

Ordered 4 boxes of wine online and was disappointed to find a half bottle where a full bottle should have been. Should not have happened. Once I got to speak to an individual the issue was sorted promptly and to my satisfaction. I understand that online orders have increased in these times, so mistakes do happen - often it is how they are handled and how much effort the customer is required to use to get what is owed that is telling. O'Brien's answered the call.
I ordered a case of wine for my son who lives in Navan on 22 April, a birthday present for him on 29 April. It wasn’t delivered in time for his birthday but we’re living in very difficult times so when I got an email from O’Briens asking for a review I gave a good score expecting that the case would be delivered soon. Unfortunately a month after the order was placed the case of wine still has not been delivered. I believe we all have to be patient in these times but an email to explain the delay with an expected revised delivery date is the least you could expect. I’m sure the wine will be nice when it’s delivered but please could someone pick up this query.
Th process of ordering was fine. But unfortunately the delay in delivery is ridiculous. DPD had my order for over a week prior to delivery and even then, so far I have only had a partial delivery. In future I will arrange to collect the wine from my local store who were especially helpful when I approached them regarding my delivery.

I placed an order Apr 23, 2020 for delivery. The order was over €100.00. I was told it would be delivered in 3-5 business days. I still don't have it almost 2 weeks later! I am now cancelling the order and asking for a refund. Think twice before ordering for delivery from O'Briens!
