DO NOT SHOP WITH OLIVER SWEENEY…THEY ARE A SHAMBLES. THEY OWE ME £119.50 & A WOMAN CALLED SARAH IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REFUSING TO PAY ME AS THE CARD THAT WAS USED IS NOT IN USE AND WILL NOT REFUND MY NEW CARD. THIS WOMAN IS THE MOST OBNOXIOUS AND RUDE WOMAN I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS…THE TRAINERS ARE FAULTY AND I HAVE EMAILS CONFIRMING THAT THEY OFFERED ME THE REFUND…SHOP WITH BELSTAFF AS THEY ARE FAT MORE PROFESSIONAL.
What a shambles of a company. I purchased a pair of VERDELHOS navy blue trainers a while ago. They were lovely and so comfortable. I have several Oliver Sweeney smart shoes and had them for years. I kept wooden shoe trees in these trainers and wore them alternately with other trainers on weekends. They were immaculate, wiped over and never worn on mud etc. A few months ago I noticed a squeek coming from them so after inspecting them and to my horror the front of the shoe had totally come apart. I liaised with the customer service team and in particular a man called Rhidian. He was initially helpful and I returned them. He gave me a 50% voucher off another pair of OS as a gesture of good will. I purchased the ERMIDA in tan using this voucher. I received an email saying that they were going to be repaired…I was in total shock as they were totally gone. You could have fitted an apple through the gap at the front, I explained if they could repair them then I would accept it however without putting on a new sole which would have looked awful as the other sole was fine I couldn’t see how they would be able to repair them. Anyway, they were returned to me within a couple of days, the next day I wore them it hapened again, they had just superglued it. My 10 year old daughter could have done a better job. I contacted Rhidian and explained, he agreed they should never have been and stated that as a result of the fact my VERDELHOS had been returned and become faulty again the 1st time I wore them I didn’t think I should have had to pay for 50% of the ERMIDA…he agreed and re credited me. Surprise surprise the ERMIDA have become faulty after having been worn no more than 10 times…the leather stitching inside has come away and rubs the back of the heel so CANNOT be worn. I sent these back and had an email today to say that they will only refund me the 50% that they re credited me not the fill amount. The initial 50% off was a voucher of goodwill having been a loyal customer of OS for years. The other 50% was because of the shambolic and dreadful service I had received whereby the initial trainers were sent back glued and returned to me in 2 days…no care was shown in repairing them. I have stated to Rhidian that the materials used, the craftmanship and professionalism with OS has obviously deteriorated and that I will never shop with them again. It fell on deaf ears and that 99.9% of people are satisfied apparently. I will shop with Belstaff from now on…I have both a pair of boots and trainers from them, they are perfect and I have had them for both for almost 2 years.
The most helpful customer service I’ve come across - emailed late at night with an exchange issue and this was addressed / order sent out before I had a chance to ring in the morning . Quality shoes - another level !
I was having some issues with the delivery of the shoes, which had been dispatched by OS but were being held up at the Royal Mail end. This meant I wasn't sure whether they'd arrive in time for a wedding in a couple of days. I contacted Oliver Sweeney and Ridian from their customer service team called me promptly and provided top quality customer service promising to dispatch another pair for next day delivery . Thanks for going the extra mile to help me.
Ridian was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I had misplaced the detachable strap for one of my OS weekend bags and enquired how much a replacement would be. Ridian kindly sent me a spare strap and also in an incredibly quick timeframe. First class experience.
Oliver Sweeney is a first class company that makes excellent shoes and has a repair/resoling service for their products. I sent my worn yet beloved OS derby shoes and they repaired them to brand new status. Highly recommend.

Complete disappointment. We issued a return to all requirements (the size did not fit). However, the Oliver Sweeney Company received the parcel (trucking ) more than a week ago. I've owned a pair of Oliver sweeney much loved boots for a couple of years now. I'd unfortunately lost one of my zipper pull tags. Contacted Ridian at Oliver sweeney customer care. Such a great brand, really high quality products. I had a slight issue with my most recent order and the customer service team (particularly Ridian) were super helpful and communicated really well - they made sure my issue was resolved. Fab service - I will definitely order from them again!!

Fit, comfort and style are outstanding.
The ordered Boots came very promptly and extremely well packaged. However I returned them due a small blemish and requested a replacement. I could not fault the level of Service and curtesy that followed. ‘Ridian’ virtually provided a personal service as he responded to my communications and provided updates. The return was free and the replacement was ridiculously quick, providing a perfect pair of boots. I’d like to thank Ridian and the Customer Service Team for their support. This is the second Pair of Boots I have purchased and both are excellent quality and value.
Oliver Sweeney is by far my favourite Footwear/Clothing Company. I shop at probably four brands who all provide quality excellent customer service. Oliver Sweeney sits on top of this tree. Even when the fault has been totally mine, OS bends over backwards to help. You feel a valued customer and not just a number. And the products are brilliant btw.
