I have used Auro products before and I needed some paint in a hurry so I chose a colour from the online chart provided by the Organic and Natural Paint Co. The actual colour of the paint I got was several shades lighter than the colour in the chart. Since the paint is rather expensive, I sent the company an email with some pictures and was told by someboduy, I presume Mr Ridley, that he would check with Auro. He then stated Auro had informed him the colour was right. Except that it was not right for me, because it was not what I expected from looking at the online chart. Nobody entertained the idea that the tin may have been incorrectly labeled either, but I was directed to their "terms and conditions" which are somewhere in a lenghty drop down menu and basically state that the online charts cannot be relied on. In black and white I was informed the mistake was entirely my own fault. I questioned why this warning was not clearly displayed on top of the colour charts themselves but my question was ignored. However, Mr Ridley stated the following: "I understand that there is nothing I can do to resolve your frustration, even perhaps sending you a tester pot of another colour you might prefer, or have found on the Auro colour chart we sent" ...and then did nothing. I never had, nor was I ever offered a paper colour chart. and of course no tester pot was offered to me , let alone sent! Mr Ridley then just went quiet... Since then, nothing. I paid £37 for a .750L tin of paint which is no use to me and I have to go back to square one and look elsewhere for the colour I require to paint a skirting board in a bedroom with a newly installed carpet where I cannot put the furniture back until the skirting board is ready. Mr Ridley is very quick to extol the virtues of his products and to talk down his competitors but he has no idea that -as much as the products- fair customer service is what makes a company succeed or fail. From his lenghty argumentative replies I can see how his customer is always to blame when something goes wrong.
Wouldn’t hesitate to order from this company again, superb communication when contacting them with regards to a query with receiving our order. Sorted out as quickly as they were able due to it being Christmas. Paint is lovely and so very pleased to know we are not using a chemical laden product. Huge thanks.
Great range of eco friendly paints and personalised advice from the director himself, who has put in a lot of research for the benefit of his own family to separate the genuine products from the green washing. Highly recommend 😊

I knew how good eco paint was but didn’t know where to get/ what was good. I was really happy to find these guys and with us with a baby and needing to repaint, I didn’t want them to inhale any toxic fumes. (There isn’t any with eco paint) The advice on the site was excellent, the product was superb, delivery was speedy, I can’t recommend this company enough:) Will definitely use in the future!:)

Purchased a 375ml tin for £18.25 plus postage of £4.95 to apply to two small oak shelves. Followed the instructions and primed with a thin coat. The brush was immediately cleaned in water but the residue solidified and had to be dissolved in white spirits. (The instructions on the tin mentions that this could happen) The primer coat wouldn’t dry and then I discovered that Oak must be primed with Auro 117 Special Primer at an additional cost of £16 plus postage of £4.95 bringing the total cost to £44.15. Entirely my fault - I hadn't read the instructions fully but had I read the instructions and discovered the true cost (£44.15) I would have found a more reasonably priced alternative. So not wanting to spend another £20.95 on the off chance it fixed the problem and I would have to sand back to bare would anyway, I decided to cut my losses. After a week I was able to sand back to bare wood although it still wasn’t properly dry and really clogged up the sandpaper. After a little research I purchased a 500ml tin of Rustins Quick Dry Varnish Satin Clear for £9.99 which was also water based, low odour, toy safe, food safe AND touch dry in 30 mins, re-coatable in two hours and the brush really did wash clean in water. The finish after the third coat (light sanding between coats) was exactly what I wanted – matt, odourless, no perceptible colour change to the oak and beautifully smooth. One learns from experience.

Incredible experience, I was very pressed for time to receive oil for my wood floors. There was a slight delay with the courier, and the Natural Paint Co. sent a second order with urgent postage for me, to ensure I had the oil on time. The oil smells delicious! and truly is a pleasant smell, rolls on super easy. I'd recommend this company to anyone!
I wanted organic natural paint for my bedroom so that I do not have to breath toxins whilst sleeping and I found this website whilst doing my researches; They are absolutely reliable; all my four orders arrived the day after they were placed and their curies are very friendly. I chose a pale blue for my bedroom (whisper) which I love and I have to say it smells nice too (it smell natural, cant describe but it does not have that typical toxic odors of traditional paints). I can definitely say I have safe sleeps now
Great that you can get a true colour chart with real paint on. The paint has good coverage, there were no problems using it and it's reassuring to know there are no chemicals in it and it might even absorb the chemicals from the new furniture and no environmental impact!
