Overall great value service, but rubbish delivery.

The actual Readly service is great, for the price of one magazine subscription, I read over 6 magazines a month and a daily newspaper. But the windows desktop app is rubbish. It runs in a browser and it routinely crashes, so much that I don't think I've ever finished any publication without at least one crash. Also there is no way to change to a dark reader mode, which for late night reading would be very welcome.

Although there are lots of newspapers…

Although there are lots of newspapers magazines etc and I've had Readly for a number of years now I had decided l wasn't using it enough and have been trying to cancel it for months now. I never get the 'cancel' subscription ' page on my account and messages I've emailed to customer services are being ignored. I purchased it through Readly and not a third party

Incredible and fantastic value

I find Readly fantastic and incredible value for its astonishing variety of magazines, for a crafting enthusiast like myself, the array of art, painting, sketching, knitting, crochet, gardening, cooking, air fryer (yes did you know a magazine committed to the new cooking revolution and what you can cook in it, staggeringly informative) interior design, pages on pottery and ceramics to bookmark, it’s infallible. Newspapers, The Guardian (Yotam Ottolenghi and his written love of food pour into his sublime recipes and beg you to cook them) The Observer on a Sunday (the thrill of reading Nigel Slater and his poetical take on food) and that is just two of the newspapers I have singled out. The array of interior magazines, invites you into a realm of dreams that you can turn into reality in your own home. Magazines on fashion and styles, the name itself attracts you in, Harpers Bazzar for one, the cover of their top monthly choice of celebrity emblazoned on the front. Readly have also thought of the inclusion of crosswords and sudoku books (the agony and ecstasy for the puzzle enthusiast) Gosh I’m singing out the praises of Readly because I assure you there are many, many more magazines for the enthusiast, trains, narrow boats, yachts, motorcycles, motor mechanics, land rovers, camper vans etc, that I haven’t mentioned in the above, there are truly just too many to mention and single out, please if you haven’t subscribed to Readly, please do it now, I can fully assure you, you will not be disappointed.

If you buy one magazine 4 times a month…

If you buy one magazine 4 times a month that's your subscription paid for. Then we have to talk about the choice. You have a lot more to choose from more than you can read, if you like magazines it doesn't make any sense not to have this app. It has almost cured my aimless scrolling .....almost

Great value for money

Great value for money. There are several magazines that I only dip into from time to time, so don’t wish to buy them. Magazines I use all the time, like The Radio Times, mean no piles of old paper. I can also try a magazine not familiar to me to see what it’s like.

Outstanding product/service, no downsides seen yet

I was a bit sceptical when I first saw this but gave it a try - completely converted. There are so many magazines (and increasingly newspapers) to read, lots of UK content, and the ability to download to my phone is great - means I can always have something to browse when I'm out and about, without having to be connected to data. Most publications are viewed as full page (pdf style) so you have to get used to zooming and scrolling, especially on a small screen, but that's a small price to pay for the convenience. Very glad I tried it and hope it doesn't change!

A friend of mine told me about this…

A friend of mine told me about this service, he seemed very happy, so I had a look and subscribed. I think it’s about familiarity and to a degree education by absorption - for me, at the moment, there’s just too much to look at, magazines I’d buy once in a while and enjoy in hard copy I just don’t access through this service probably because it’s not how I usually read magazines, and the daily newspaper I still get through direct subscription to the publisher. I think this is potentially a great service, but for me I’m not quite ready for this as my ‘go to’ source yet, it’s the future but may be not yet.
