Good quality and really pretty

I ordered a white basket to fill to the brim with cuddly toys for my soon to be Grandson. I've had several baskets from different shops in the past and was a little apprehensive about how it would look in real life. I needn't have worried. It's absolutely lovely. In fact, the photo doesn't do it justice.

Appalling customer service!!!

Do not use this company or its sister company The Willow Basket - both operated by the same people. I ordered £150 worth of baskets which never arrived. Red Hamper took the payment. After waiting a month and being told another shipment was on its way (which also never arrived), I requested a refund. Red Hamper is no longer returning my emails and the phone rings off. I used Paypal and so I have raised a dispute with them and am waiting to hear back. I suspect the stock is not available and the company is taking orders it cannot fulfil. Appalling customer service which has wasted hours of my time, and as yet no refund.

Goods NOT received - dispute raised with Visa

I do not recommend Red Hamper Ltd. I placed two orders. After a week I emailed requesting a status. The reply was that it was an issue with (a) UPS, AND (b) items not being in stock. I requested clarification and the response was that it was an issue with UPS. Soon after I received an auto email that the items of one order were being dispatched. I then received an auto email notification from UPS. But the items were not delivered on the date specified. I emailed Red Hamper again to be told it was an issue with UPS. When I clicked through to the UPS tracking I could see a label had been created by the vendor (Red Hamper) but the vendor had not arranged for a parcel collection. This was simply a delay tactic by Red Hamper. If they have a supply issue, the items not in stock, then be up front about it. Don't lie and make excuses, placing blame on the courier firm. I do not recommend this company. This vendor has fobbed off my request for a full refund on both orders stating they are waiting for UPS to return the goods to them and only then will they refund. I do not believe them. It's now March and I have placed a dispute with Visa on both orders, for goods not received.

I ordered online the Set of 2 Wicker…

I ordered online the Set of 2 Wicker Country Log Set which I thought would be dispatched within their timeframe of 7days. This was not the case. I contacted the company as I had not heard anything 4 days after placing the order and advised that there was no problem with the order. On the eighth day I contacted them again and to my horror was advised that there was an error on their system for my order but he would dispatch as soon as possible or offer me a refund. I genuinely wanted to keep the order so gave them the benefit of the doubt. In my eyes this would be a priority order and should therefore be dispatched by the end of the following working day. Once this did not happen I felt I had no option but to open up a PayPal case against them and get my full refund. This company has very poor customer service and I would advise strongly against using them.

I ordered Deluxe Retro Double Lidded…

I ordered Deluxe Retro Double Lidded Wicker Fitted Picnic Basket. When I hadnt recieved notification of dispatch I contacted the company who advised that their dispatches were a little behind due to issues with thier courier service. I explained that I had ordered for a special ocasion and the company owner said he could not guarantee it would be in time and offered a refund. I decided to risk it and the next day the owner advised that to guarantee delivery on time he had had the item dispatched from one of his customer/distributors stock, he even kept me uodated with tracker number and estimated delivery time. The item arrived in time and is fabulous. Great service and product - Thanks so much!

I ordered a hamper online but did not…

I ordered a hamper online but did not really give the company time to get it delivered, it was a gift. Ordinarily they would have dispatched the item immediately but were running a day or two behind. I emailed them for a refund and received a very courteous reply with a full refund back into my account in two days. This is the sort of service you would expect from a good company, this is why I am taking the time to write a review.

Absolutely awful service and the hamper!

Absolutely awful service and the hamper looked like a child’s put together kit!!! The so called brass looking chains were unfixed and brittle and not the same length !! The basket was a type of plastic whisker ‘look a like ‘ also the stitching of the linking was so poor and looked like a child had stapled it together !! The gentleman to whom I spoke to complain was rude and unhelpful to say the least …. The worst hamper and shopping experience I’ve ever had !!!
