Emailed dispatch date went flying past…

Emailed dispatch date went flying past for my gravel AL with no communication from Ribble. Order has been in a “processing promised” status for nearly a month. When I contacted ribble on WhatsApp the day before it was meant to be dispatched they just said that the build hadn’t even started and the date would be pushed back. They weren’t able to give any more updates on my £2.5k bike that I’ve given them the money for.

Order placed 7 weeks ago and was informed by email of delivery day last week but no ebike was delivered. Contacted customer service only to be told ebike has not been built nor scheduled and no delivery date available. This is confusing but after reading other reviews, seems to be common with Ribble.

The website kept glitching and I had to…

The website kept glitching and I had to re enter the details X3 times tried form my phone then computer. Gave up then tried the next morning and managed to get it to work. This is not a criticism but might need looking into as I nearly just brought elsewhere as it would not complete in the website.

Good but does crash

The website is good but can be very slow at loading pages and the pages do crash and need re-loading. Overall a good experience and managed to get my order in with no issues

Ribble Cycles

Ordered a bike at the start of Feb with Dispatch date of 30th April. Although it was almost 3 months, I had made the 240 mile round trip to the show room and was happy with the bike. On 30th April I received a phone call to say my bike would not be dispatched today as there are no frames of the type and no option of a suitable replacement. If I hadn’t bought the bike with cycle to work I would definitely be going elsewhere. Just be aware when buying from Ribble that you might be in for a long wait.

The sales guy was very knowledgable and friendly. After my bike measure he talked me through the e bike options and answered my questions. I really like the way he spoke directly to me as the customer and not my husband. When it got to the technical part I asked him to talk to my husband as he was the brains in that part of the process. This showed me the sales guy was respectful to me. He helped me make the decision on best bike components to suite my needs. He explained all the options available for the model I chose. Explained delivery times and all payment options. The chose of colour options was vast, making it hard to choose, having seen a bike in the shop in the colour I liked help me make my final decision. The sales man was helpful making suggestions for the colour of the Ribble writing to go with my colour choice.

Bike was delivered faulty after being…

Bike was delivered faulty after being over a month later than expected and was told to return it to get fixed i would need to wait a further 28 days. Took it to the bike shop to get fixed 2 days later another fault and no response after 3 days of updating customer service. Really frustrating expierence with poor communication or options for resolving problems.

Cycle order Website challenges

The website would not allow me to select a custom colour. I tried MS edge, Google Chrome, 2Laptops and created a new account. Technical support was not helpful as they’re only available 9am to 1pm. That said due to me investing so much time checking dimension etc I’ve gone with standard colour. On balance the website layout is good, and straight forward it’s just annoying it wouldn’t load the desire configuration though to the basket for checkout.

Second to none for customer care.

The experience from showroom in Clitheroe to delivery of the bike has been first class. The care and attention shown when fitting me for the right bike was great and the product is a beautiful Ribble Endurance road bike that is fantastic. The bike also came much quicker than expected .
