Horrific customer service. Incomplete product arrived and absolutely no effort made to rectify situation. Will never order from Robert Dyas again.
No happy with this company at all. Purchased a day bed cover, it arrived literally just in a parcel bag not its own bag with no pull cord around the bottom. I rang and they contacted “Charles Bentley” where they said it was from. They said they don’t require you to return it as long as you reply to the link we will send showing that it has no cord, and they will send a new one out. I did this, a week later heard nothing. Rang them again they then said I had to send it back or get a £10 refund. I couldn’t send it back as I’d left it on the daybed outside because they didn’t require me to return it, I tried to explain this whole story but they didn’t seem to understand. I said I would have to accept the partial refund of £10. Annoyingly they refunded only £8.33. I’m so mad with this company it’s been a joke.
Nice fire at a good price. There was an issue with one of the coal bars being cracked and Robert Dyas sorted the issue promptly.
Once I'd ordered my shed the email said I would be contacted to arrange a suitable day to deliver. Well this never happened so we weren't in! Finally I got a text regarding a second attempt. Shed was delivered ok but would have liked an email confirming the date and time of delivery.
Awful service I have been sent totally wrong item I have been asked to answer a raft of questions and send photos before they can do anything, now been advised I have to take a days holiday from work to wait in all day for a collection before they can refund me, disgusting!
Packages just left out the front of my house for ever to see. No instructions and I don’t rate your customer service
Couldn't have asked for a better service. Ordered 4 sets of drawers late on the Friday and they were delivered on the following Tuesday morning.
Great shredder, ideal for what is needed, although it struggles with more than four pages to shred. Great price though
I would have given 5 stars for Robert Dyas, but sadly my purchase was let down by the company who were supplying the batteries that I had ordered. I ordered two Yard Force batteries (£74.99 each, total £149.98) and the delivery driver came just 3 days after placing my order, but sadly only one battery was delivered to me instead of two. I e mailed Robert Dyas straight away on the Sunday afternoon to let them know, and at 8.20am the next working day I was called by a customer advisor from Robert Dyas who was very polite and friendly and did her best to find out where my second battery had got to. After 24hrs later I'd heard nothing, so I called them and spoke to a different customer advisor who also tried to get hold of the supplier and find out the problem. Long story short, I had to call Robert Dyas everyday for 4 days to see what was happening, and sadly on each occasion the customer advisors could not get any answers from the supplier (Sumec UK), and by the Friday (19/4/24) which was the day my batteries were surposed to be delivered by, the second battery had still not arrived, so Robert Dyas gave me a refund of £74.99 for the battery that never turned up, so I had to then order my second battery from another online supplier that delivered the battery next day to me. It was fustrating having to call Robert Dyas every day to try and find out what was happening, but I think the problem was probably the supplier of the batteries (Sumec UK). The batteries showed as "in stock" on the Robert Dyas website so I assumed the batteries were being sent direct from Robert Dyas, but the batteries were actually being sent from Sumec UK (Yard Force), so I'm not 100% sure where the problem occured. Possibly someone at Sumec who thought the order was for one battery instead of two??...I'll never know. But I have to say, all of the customer advisors I spoke with at Robert Dyas were friendly, polite and helpful and tried their best to find answers for me from the supplier (Sumec), and when finally the 19th April came and the second battery hadn't arrived, I had no problem at all in getting the £74.99 refund. The chap who sorted it for me was very friendly and processed the refund immediately. Also, it was very easy to contact Robert Dyas - within 5 mins of dialing the number each day, I was able to speak to a human being who did their best to help me. It was my first time buying from Robert Dyas - it's a shame it was a fustrating experience, most likely due to the battery supplier, but I'll never know for sure.
Everything was great from ordering to my item being delivered.. the price was the best price I could get online .. Will definitely use the company again..

I ordered a Nuie Ava Comfort Rimless Pan and cistern as advertised on their website for £204.99 When it arrived it was NOT rimless, so in fact not as advertised. I sent photos of the rim of the toilet showing quite clearly that it was not a rimless model but they replied that their suppliers Ultra Finishing Ltd said that they had supplied what we ordered which was not the case. Surely our contract was with Robert Dyas and not with their supplier. The main reason for us ordering the toilet was the fact that it was rimless. I asked for a £50 refund which I do not think is unreasonable but it was refused. Very surprised by the way this has been dealt with, needless to say we shall never use them again.
I had a great experience in the Poole, Dorset Robert Dyas. The sales assistant to recommended a product then proceeded to help me with the points system you offer. She went above and beyond.
I phoned Robert Dyas for information regarding a table, the assistant was very efficient and checked manufacturers details for clarification. From that I placed my order, was kept informed regularly as to the delivery. My item was delivered to a room of my choosing by 2 very polite delivery men and I am very pleased with the quality of the table. Will definitely use Robert Dyas in the future should needs arise.
SIGNED UP FOR THE DYAS CARD IN STORE AND WAS TOLD THAT I COULD AD MY RECEIPT TO MY POINTS TOTAL WHEN I GOT HOME. WHEN I TRYED TO DO THIS IT WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE POS NUMBER ON THE RECEIPT HOWEVER MANY TIMES I ENTERED IT. Since posting this I have been awarded the points from my receipt, all good now.
I'm a Robert Dyas addict! I ordered a next day delivery item (woodsmoker) for a birthday. My heart sank when I saw you use Yodel for delivery. I paid for next day delivery and now they say it will come to my home the following day when I'm not in. Please ditch Yodel.
