I really enjoy the fact that I can communicate with the Sellers. So far, every purchase I have made has gone through without a hitch. And I have been pleasantly surprised to discover items on RubyLane that I can not find other places. Each shop is like your own personal Antique shop where you can speak directly with the owner and work out a price that is acceptable to each of you. I will keep coming back.

I really like the filters, it helps reduce my search time. (My only suggested improvement would be to list what an item sold for, that would help educate buyers who want to learn more about the value of vintage pieces.)
A little confusing that invoices say “don’t forget to make your payment” (?) I thought I did. So then I had to check PayPal to make sure I did. It would be better to keep viewing items without having to tap the next page, page after page and then it’s a real drag if you tap wrong spot. Makes shopping inconvenient and not efficient.
Always,if possible, I prefer to buy my vintage costume jewelry on this site. Ruby Lane has such knowledgeable sellers and so many of them have been willing to work with me to make more expensive transactions become reality. I’ve made many friends through my purchases here. The vintage costume jewelry community are fabulous people with a gigantic love for bling! This is the place, for sure!

I made an offer for an item. Seller quickly responded and made a counteroffer, which I was happy with. I also loved that the seller has shipping included. Very nice experience and hoping when my Santa’s arrive they are as nice as they look.
The hooked rug which I purchased through your website did not meet my expectations. Bonnie Boswell Antiques altered the colors of the pictures used to advertise the rug. The contrast was pushed to give the rug an almost black frame in the pictures. The actual rug has a mid-tone brown frame. The background of the motif looks cream/white in the ad pictures used, but the actual rug has a tan background. Bonnie Boswell should not alter the colors and contrast of what she is selling. Good points of the transaction: the rug is in good condition and it arrived promptly.
Loving Ruby Lane. I have checked them out a lot over the years and recently found some gorgeous vintage earrings I could not live without.
The purchase order process apparently has been changed/improved. I had no idea that if I chose PayPal/Credit card I would not be billed immediately for a purchase (my previous experience); the system is now letting me place an order but wait for payment until the shop owner has adjusted the shipping charges.
Bad idea to try and sell on this website. After I jumped through all hoops only to not be a seller.
