Never used board base before but will use again. Great price on product which arrived promptly. Well, parcelforce left outside a house down the road which we found eventually but boardbase did escalate this and it got sorted. Just got to get out and use the new stick now!
Had issue with K2 snowboard boots. Purchased end of last season. First time out this year had issue with boots causing me grief. Returned to The board base, K2 said no issue with boots but I insisted they where not fit for purpose. To be fair board base refunded in full after bit of chew.
Ordered a snowboard at 50% off. Arrived in great time and got the last one in my size. Good all round!
Order sent was not what I'd purchased, I received a different item. I then had to call twice as had no response after the first call despite being told I'd get a call back. Agent said the item was incorrectly advertised on the website and they only had the same item in another colour in stock, I was then told I'd have to pay additionally for the order. This is no way to resolve a mistake that was made on your part, I ordered items in good faith, and your company failed not only in sending me what was contractually agreed to but in resolving the matter. What an absolute joke, this is not even mediocre customer service, and a complete waste of my time, energy and money.
What can I say, simply amazing service, ordered two sizes of Salomon Dance haul snowboard, looked like one was damaged in transit! Rang immediately, I spoke to Lauren who was just great, she arranged a pick up for damaged board and held one in stock whilst I decided on which board size to keep! Refund sorted no problem too, I will definitely be shopping here again, top draw service!!

Outstanding customer service! I had to order 2 items rather quickly due to leaving the country. (These items were also out of stock at every other place I tried). I called up and spoke to Maria at first, who was kind and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Maria created my account over the phone and scheduled delivery for the very next day, and also made additional notes for the courier due to address difficulties. Maria also took the time to search online to convert US to UK boot size. I then called back 20 min later to add an item to my order and dealt with Lauren, who was just as kind and helpful. As Maria processed the order so quickly and efficiently, Lauren had to then run to the warehouse in order to consolidate the items, not to mention following up by email 24hrs later (after I had already received the items) I have now receive my items, at amazing price as well! I will 100% be using The Board Basement when I return to the UK and hopefully have the pleasure of dealing with Maria and Lauren again. Such a caring, efficient service! Thanks again
