Let's start with the unanswered email from April 21. Now let's go 2 random Issues they sent me twice. Now let's go to them sending me Issues 85 and 87, when they should have sent me Issues 88 and 89. Who is running the show here? Why is it so difficult to manage a subscription? And when someone finally emails me, they want to do nothing to compensate for the mess they created. Unfortunately, there is no other place to order this magazine, so I am at their mercy...
Because my order was very late due to a long delay at the distributors -- which was no fault of The Rake -- the delightful Kasia refunded my shipping charge and expedited the delivery as soon as it came into stock. The Rake's very personal standard of service puts them a cut above other online fashion retailers.
They solved the issue of my missing subscription and have sent me all the issues I missed plus have extended my sub as recompense
