Unfortunately we were recommended the wrong colour grouting. We wanted a grey grout with our tiles and the one that was recommended turn out to be white grouting so now we have white grouting instead of grey.
We ordered artificial grass from this company, we couldn't have been happier with the quality of the grass and the customer service from start to finish was amazing. The delivery driver although I can't remember his name was very helpful on delivery and helped us get the grass into our back garden even though he didn't need to and it was very much appreciated. I highly recommend The Tile Merchant and will 100% shop here again
I placed an order last Sunday (website states 1 -2 days delivery), I received a phone call Monday morning saying delivery would be today, Saturday. I was cross as I have work men waiting, anyway as I had no option that had to be ok. Having waited in all day, today and no delivery I phoned at 15:35 to be told it hadn't been sent out. Some story about the order not 'being sent across'. Never again!
The price of the outdoor heater I bought was so good I was concerned it may be flimsy. Its not. Its exactly the same as ones I've seen on other sites for up to 50 and 60 euro dearer. It was delivered in less than 48 hours and works brilliantly. Can't fault either the product or the service.

I ordered cobbles from the internet site and they showed as available. I took time off work and drove 25 miles to Greenougue to collect and they had no stock. I then had trouble getting my refund and was promised a call back regarding this refund but never got the call. Had to chase and make calls to organize the refund. Very bad and disappointing experience with Tile merchant.

Easy collection of materials, hassle free
I often feel disillusioned after visiting shops,believing they're not what they used to be in terms of staff+efficiency...often left standing with noboby asking if s/he could help..which results in my leaving and gping elsewhere. However,I have been " blown away" by the service I received in Tile Merchant in Coolock today.I went there 2 weeks ago+was so encouraged by the help+friendliness there that I returned today and bought all my tiles for my new kitchen..floor+backsplash. There is a young lady there who is truly exceptional..Marija...so friendly,encouraging and efficient.She has wonderful taste and knows her tiles.Through her wonderful,warm personality and inimitable style and flair,she put together a beautiful palette for me.I am truly delighted...this young lady ..Marija...made my day/my week...and my kitchen! Good experience
We purchased a Pergolux pergola from this company in Oct 2023. After the installation by the professional builders and extra efforts were made to secure the pergola from storm damage by using multiple steel bars to attached to the house, around 11 out of 23 panels on the roof were damaged by the strong wind in Jan 2024 even though we followed the instruction on the manual not fully closed the roof panels during the storm. We contacted the company in Jan 2024 as the product was barely 3 months old at that stage and attached photos on the emails to prove that numerous screws have fallen off and multiple panels were damaged with cracks which is not safe to use. We were told that the suppliers in China were celebrating 2 weeks of Chinese New Year at that time so we had to wait. Eventually at end of Feb, we were told that we will get the full panel replacement as well as the pack of replacement screws delivered to us. With all the excitement after waiting a week for the delivery, we found out that there were only 11 panels delivered out of the total 23 and no screws. We contacted the company again and were told that's all they could find in the ware house as the product is discontinued. They apologized about the screws. After numerous emails coming back and forth as well as phone calls, we were told they just found the remaining 12 panels. After waiting for another week of delivery and we were just delighted to have all the replacement parts on hand to fix the pergola, we realized the replacement panels were actually for Wall Mounding style and our one is actually free standing which is 9cm difference in length. After contacted the company again highlighting the issue, we were asked to send on more photos to prove the point as they believed that the panels should have been the same length regardless the style. We rang the company again this morning to ask the next approach and were told that one of the managers will call us back to discuss further but that phone call never came. After over 2 months of waiting as well as tons of emails and phone calls made, now with a pile of panels gathering the dust in the middle of the sitting room which are no good to us, the issue is still not being resolved. We are deeply regretting purchasing this product especially it was made in China which is definitely not durable for severe Irish weather conditions.
