Had a problem applying the special discount and shipping when I saw a great price for a watch I wanted. The Hamond team contacted me by email and very quickly solved my problems. They applied the discount and sent me the link to purchase. Super service and a super deal for a super watch!!
I have purchased from Hamonds previously. Their customer service and willingness to go the extra mile is second to none. Whether I have contacted them by email or phone the standard is consistently high. I can’t thank them enough for all their help, kindness, care and consideration. Their products are beautiful and staff are friendly and knowledgeable, but the accompanying quality of service really highlights their professionalism and the benefit of a traditional retail experience versus an anonymous online one. I would give 0 stars if I could. Been waiting 5 months on a watch they never had in stock and every month it's another month.. Finally give in and ask for my money back as they have had it for 5 months and they are reluctant to give my money back now!! I'm having to keep contacting them for my refund. Company is full of empty promises and Tom the sales person Is full of lies and deceit with his broke promises. Worst shopping experience ever and they carry on like a grey market seller advertising items they don't have in stock.

Item arrived very quickly, gift box not really very nice, pendant attached to bland strange mushroom coloured cardboard, did not set off necklace at all, ordered another gift box with black velvet backing. Looks much better. Also waiting for Emma to get back to me, with the measurements of another item, don't seem in any rush
Visited your York store on Sunday to get my wife a gift, as I was holidaying solo. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Karen asked me what kind of jewellery my wife liked and pointed me in the right direction. I'm happy to say my wife is over the moon with my choice.
There was an issue with the amount of time that my order was taking to be dispatched. I ended up having to call customer services. The young man was very good ( wish i could remember his name as he deserves recognition). He was able to find out what was happening and realised that the workshop would have been prioritising items for the shop as the goth weekend was coming up. He was however able to message the workshop asking them to prioritise my order. After this my order was with me after 3 days.

Arrived as communicated. Well wrapped and received in excellent order. I did ask for the bracelet adjustment as part of the order but that was unfortunately omitted.

Bought my wedding ring from the York shop, and have been in the store a few times during the process since my first visit. Both Mason and Mark have been fantastic throughout, both in the shop and in their contact during the sale. Very knowledgeable people and give you full confidence in what you’re buying. Feels so much better getting a special piece of jewellrey from a nice, independent, personal store too.
Second in person purchase from these guys and absolutely loved the service, very personable and invested sellers. Each item is a wonderful quality and beautifully packaged, all in all very happy with the service I have been given, served by Mark for both purchases and each time has been a five star experience.
Poor workmanship brought an engagement ring under a year ago and been in twice to be fixed as diamonds fell out… Brought A necklace a week ago again looks like a mess (can see glue and chipped) of the Whitby jet and missing diamonds!!! Would understand if I brought these items from a market in Egypt!!

Ordered watch Saturday, and it arrived the following Wednesday. Quick replies to my emails. I would highly recommend CW Sellors to anyone buying watches or jewellery, I cannot fault them at all.
Completely unacceptable and abysmal processes and customer care. Places an order for an item, although showing as in stock I was informed on the website there would be a 1-2 week fulfilling time. Shortly after placing the order I received email confirmation that the piece of jewellery was no longer available, nor could it be fulfilled by the manufacturer. The email was responded to within hours of receiving making it clear I wished to proceed with a refund, and not as they suggested discuss an alternative item. The email was not responded to confirm a refund would be processed. Contacted customer service via telephone and again made with clear I would like to be refunded. This was agreed. Two days later still no email response from the company, or confirmation of a refund. Further call made to be met with rude and abrupt customer service after conveying my dismay I had received no notification of a refund. Full spiel give about their processes and having to pass to a refunds team etc. Whilst remaining polite I voiced my concern that the level of service had been poor, and that I found it unacceptable to be told I may be waiting weeks for the refund. Overall an abysmal service and I’ve yet to hear a ‘sorry’ from the customer service team. Disappointed is an understatement, and I won’t use the company again in the future. Calmly awaiting refund!
