Shop Visit

I have been following the WIW on Instagram for a while and was looking forward to visiting the store. I’m not much of a fan of online shopping. I did so recently. The shop was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. I bought an item after trying it on. It was expensive enough but I really liked it! I was gutted when I came home to find that I could have purchased the same item in a local boutique… for £25 less. Even more annoying when I found that the WIW were giving 20% off online! They do not accept returns on shop bought purchases but they do for online. I understand that the WIW have done nothing wrong here. It was just disappointing to find this out after a much anticipated visit and a lovely purchase. I would urge anyone to shop around before buying an item there as the clothing must be well overpriced! There doesn’t seem to be any point in making the trip to the shop either as it seems online customers get the much better deal with returns and discount!

Love wiw, always find statement pieces that are very unique. Always great customer service. Would love if there was bigger sizes available for some clothes. But love this store, quality is great and so many options for any event.

I have made lots of purchases and love that you can see clothes on in videos. When Ursula says to size up thats my cue and have always been happy with purchases. Have gone for different styles due to the content of videos..Yous are smashing it so keep up the good work its a fab store

Lovely clothes but poor sizing

I've followed WIW for a while on Instagram and the clothes always look beautiful and well styled. I've places 2 recent orders and whilst the clothes are lovely, the sizing is very poor. I had to recently return my whole order due to this, only to realise as they were sale items I couldn't get a refund. So I used the credit note to purchase different items and once again, the red jumpsuit that has arrived today is too small and definitely not a size 14 as advertised. I do not get this issue with any other online retailer, and furthermore, having to pay for returns means that its an expensive mistake to make! Would be reluctant to order in future.

Purchased a dress on 21/11/23 following…

Purchased a dress on 21/11/23 following Laura’s Sunday release of dresses. Checked online on the Monday/Tuesday dress still available in my size as the shop app there was no update on my delivery. Black Friday I looked up the dress nolonger available in my size Saturday 25/11/23 received a phone call to say there was an ‘error with the barcode’ when I questioned things, the girl who called me couldn’t give me a valid answer. She proceeded to say there’s a delay with the app and online purchases. This is crazy the app is running along time and people are encouraged to use the app not the webpage. she then went on to tell me my order wasn’t dealt with until Tuesday when they realised they hadn’t my order available and then they where awaiting returns by Friday no return of this dress was made so they then decided to contact me. Eventually I was put through to the manager at this point it was very clear they allow over purchasing of items In the hope returns would happen. The manager tried to say this is how all retailers work well I have never ordered anything online to be told after I paid it’s not available. The manager proceeded to say I should have been contacted on Tuesday but the team she apologised this didn’t happen. I paid for delivery in 3-5days. Not good enough. This is the second time this has happened with the walk in wardrobe. Given all the pictures of a big team and big meetings simple communication with customers doesn’t happen. So walk in wardrobe kept my money for a week now I have to wait another 3-5 days for it to be credited to my account. No offer given for the mess up of my dress. I hadn’t time to be looking online as I was away when the phone call came through but I have such a distaste now with this company. Failed on the basics honesty and communication

Address error

My full address was not put on my parcel for delivery. So it got misplaced for a few days and I was late getting it. But my previous parcel had my full address on it so maybe it was just an easy slip up.

I was disappointed to read that when making a return the refund would go back unto the original gift card - as always I disposed of this paper gift card as soon as I made the order. As this was a gift I do not have the original gift card by email.

The description was accurate, lovely quality garments, arrived within a few days. Walk in Wardrobe are easy to deal with, love the personal touches like the note in the bag.They care about the customer.I had occasion to return an item recently and it was so easy with no hassle.Excellent.

I have followed WIW on Facebook for quiet a while. Placed an order & received a lovely Thank You email. I received my product a few days later, nicely packaged. Item was exactly as in pic & I am thrilled with it. Will def be shopping there again soon

Put of ordering again

First of all I had to pay for postage then had to return my items thought material looked cheap. Now I'm having another £5.25 deducted from my refund to pay for Collect +. It has cost me £10 and I've nothing to show for it. It will actually put me off buying again.

I am delighted with all purchases and deliveries to date . However i am still awaiting a pre order and it did state 2 weeks was time for these and i still havent received it .
