I received inexplicably rotten service from Weirs. I own an Omega Seamaster watch which my wife bought in Weirs for an important birthday. Recently she brought the watch back to Weirs for the battery to be replaced, as it had been on a number of previous occasions. Weirs refused to replace the battery. They noted that the crown was loose and they would not replace the battery unless the watch had been returned to Omega in Switzerland for repair. The watch was working perfectly and I did not need to spend several hundreds of Euro on an unnecessary repair. After a week's unsuccessful back and fro with Weirs, Paul Sheeran, expert watch retailers, just round the corner replaced the battery. I wrote a letter of complaint to Weirs MD Chris Andrews, but of course received no reply. Weirs don't correspond with small people.
I don’t make review but not since a long Time I saw such unprofessional rude and horrible staff. I had to bounce between 4 different people and was rudely told you have to go to them! From one of the staff members, hell no. They need to come to me. When I eventually figured out who I needed to catch the attention of I was standing in from of two of the staff members for at least 40 seconds before they even said hello. When they did the lady, having what I can only imagine was a very enthralling conversation , said hello and told me to wait. Terrible staff not all but the whole team had a stick stuffed up their asses all the while the coat I was wearing coat more than 2 months of their salary. Which I didn’t say. I politely said thank you and left. But for a luxury shop you expect to be treated a bit better otherwise I’d just go to dunes !
Found the customer service in the watch department incredibly poor. The lady who dealt with me was cold, unfriendly and I was left miffed after the encounter if I’m honest. There to replace a luxury watch battery and enquire about a small repair, and was treated like I was troubling her day. 7 days later, there was still no call as to my watch and getting it back.. so I called to find the battery was on hold as they were enquiring about repair. This shouldn’t take 7 days!! 2 stars purely for the nice young man who I dealt with on the phone to listen to my concern and complaint and ensured it was ready the next day. In future I will take business elsewhere. Very poor.
Ordered a watch onine that I have been looking for a while now. Found it here, for around the same price. Great to order something locally and get a good deal. Watch arrived after a few days, no import tax etc to deal with. Watch perfect and Weir's were a pleasure to deal with.

Weirs is such a lovely experience. I've been there dozens of times over the years. If I'm browsing ,nobody bothers me. When I'm buying something it's alwys such a lovely experience,the staff are truly wonderful people. The jewelry and watches etc are gorgeous always but,to me, it's the people in Weirs that bring everything to life. The welcome I got last Friday was phenomenal. I wasn't buying anything, I was doing a messy exchange, cumbersome and annoying I would say honestly. It didn't matter,I was treated like I was The President of Ireland might be treated! Roger shook my hand like I was a friend.I felt like I was walking off a yacht or something ☺ He expertly talked me through all the watches I queried about and also the watches I purchased. A true professional and a pure gentleman. Its beyond nice to get this experience, every time I go to Weirs. It doesn't matter ifI'm spending 50 or 500 ,I get the same fantastic service. On the ground leve Jackie was dealing with me. She had originally spent a lot of time taking me through various pieces of jewellery. Her enthusiasm ,knowledge and expertise is top class. When I go to Weirs I'm normally coming from work,tired etc. The staff gauge me and everyone else expertly. They seem to know if I'm "just looking " and want to be left alone,or,if I really need help and in panic as I've left my gift buying to the last minute! They are just brilliant altogether. I haven't encountered such a group of people, in the same place, giving consistent top level customer experience,every single time. The people in Weir's never seem to have 'an off day'. I really hate jewellery shopping, but when I'm there,I seem to magically actually like it!

I had an amazing online shopping experience in the most busiest time of the year…Christmas! I was looking for a specific watch-not an expensive one-as a present for my son and couldn’t find in shops, online only. I ordered from Weirandsons.ie -I’m not from Dublin- on the 18/12/2023 in the morning hoping to have it delivered in time even it’s said 3-5 working days delivery in Ireland. Evening same day got an email-“your order has been shipped “-I couldn’t believe my eyes.20/12 delivered to my door, happy son on Christmas Day! Exceptional service no matter how much you spend, Weir and Sons hats off!

I had such a great shopping experience at Weirs - a lovely friendly efficient lady called Denise went to so much trouble to source Swatch straps for me - the value of the purchase wasn’t high but the customer experience was excellent- she is a great example of the amazing staff at Weirs!
