Always been curious on the DNA test sites for dogs and so decided to give Wisdom Panel a try. Excellent service and communications from them from intial purchase of the kit all the way through to confirming my kit had been received back by them after the DNA swabs (2) were done to how long things would take and to the eventual results day.. I gave them the very basic info on my dog, namely age, sex, neutered and name, no photos or any indication of her breed (Cross Bichon and Shih Tzu)...After a matter of two weeks I had the full, and I mean FULL results of her make up, fur colour, traits, health conditions (thankfully nothing untoward) and so much more.. They correctly indicated her parents were Bichon and Shih Tzu and correct colour tones and eye colour along with SO much more information on her. I am very, very impressed with this companies DNA testing and results received and would highly recommend them to anyone curious about their dog or cats "make up"..

From start to finish they communicated with me about receiving the panel back how long it would take. Everything for £100 I was worried something would go wrong and that’s a lot of money to loose but no everything was perfect. I would strongly and highly recommend!
To do dna was easy and instructions was easy to follow the results was really good and useful to know what breed of dog you have
Having been told my dog was a springer spaniel x terrier I had my doubts as she was tall and slender. So I bit the bullet and tried a DNA test to see, I didn't upload any pictures so as not to influence the outcome. Got the results back and I can confidently say they're spot on! My dog turned out to be 4 breeds with the majority being a wirehaired pointing Griffin, then springer, then cocker and a smidgen of German wirehaired pointer. If you imagine a combination of both wirehaired pointers you see my dog. It's good to finally know exactly what breed she is so now when people ask, which they do a lot, I can finally tell them.

I don’t think any of my results are correct. I know the parentage of the dog and I know to be correct as I’m a close friend of his breeder. Everything Wisdom Panel told me was incorrect. His parentage on both sides - absolutely incorrect. His colour - they said black and he's white/cream . His hair type- According to wisdom panel, he has a heavy shedding coat. He doesn't shed at all. He apparently has unusually short legs ... Nope! they are actually unusually long! He apparently has a long snout. Wrong again! His apparent weight was drastically incorrect, and he is much bigger than the supposed breed composition. It just doesn’t seem like we’re talking about the same dog. I contacted wisdom panel customer services and received no response. Very very poor customer service. Thankfully I brought the test from Pets At Home and they have been wonderful. They immediately refunded my £80. They didnt quibble at all. I would say take the results with a pinch of salt if you can afford to lose the £80. If not get a refund from where you brought it from, and i hope thats not wisdom panel themselves.

Was easy to purchase and understand, website said results in 2-3 weeks once they have received the dna test kit, I received my results in just over a week, I purchased the complete test, I got a very detailed broken down results about my dog would recommend to anyone wanting to know more about their dog and the breed of their dog

I love wisdom panel, its quick and easy to access your dogs gene history, very informative and detailed, and a great price aswell
The breed breakdown of my cat had to be completely inaccurate. Stating he is 14% and 8% very large cat breeds when he is a small 3kg cat with shortened legs. It seemed as accurate as picking breeds out of a hat at random. Doesn’t really reveal much about your pet, you would expect more for what you pay.
The experience was straight forward and fine.
It was easy to do. Results came through fast. Quite a lot of information. It was quite expensive. They don't send information in the post it's all online.
Absolutely brilliant service. Quick and easy to do. Easy to follow instructions. Process explained step by step and kept informed along the way. Loved getting the results and being able to see the breeds that make up our adorable new puppy.
My small dog who bares a huge resemblance to either cavachon or maltipoo has come back as top 5 breeds Dalmatian, Pekingese, German shepherd, poodle (toy or miniature) and central Asian ovcharka (a large and powerful breed, in their own words). Only one I would believe is the poodle bit. I have sent them an email but on most of the bad reviews here I don’t suppose I will get any joy. I have also contacted them via fb messenger and put her photo as a comment on some of their posts
